Boston’s leader in helping men and women LOOK FRESH AND VIBRANT AT ANY AGE! Made up of a team of physicians, facial cosmetic surgeons, nurse practitioners and medical aestheticians dedicated to developing and providing customized state-of-the-art cosmetic, laser and skin rejuvenation treatments. Operating since 1999.
The Vein & Aesthetic Center of Boston's experienced physicians implement noninvasive aesthetic treatments in order to enhance the body's natural beauty. The FDA-approved Zerona treatment breaks down body fat with low-level lasers. Before treatment, clients meet with an amicable aesthetician for a 30-minute consultation to review the extensive treatment plan that encompasses six 40-minute sessions over a two-week period. Then, clients relax underneath a cold laser light that gently renders superficial fat cells porous, enabling the body's lymphatic system to expunge subterranean chub via widened protoplasmic portals. This fat-cutting procedure is nearly pain-free and requires little to no downtime, allowing clients to resume their daily routines quickly afterward. Patients typically experience results (up to 3–4 inches off the waist, hips, and thighs on average) about a week after completing the six-session regimen.
Board-certified plastic surgeons Renee Bennett O'Sullivan, MD, develops a comfortable rapport with her patients throughout years of continued care at their office, which is located in a house on Denton Road. Though she specializes in cosmetic surgery for the face, body, and breasts, she brings the same level of perfectionism to nonsurgical cosmetic procedures and sandwich making. She treats wrinkles and blemishes of age with Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin injections using Restylane and Radiesse fillers.
Dr. Renee dedicates much time to traveling the world, volunteering her medical expertise in Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Haiti, where she has helped set up a burn unit in the Albert Schweitzer Hospital. Here in the States, she lends her services to the Iraq Star Foundation which provides free plastic surgery to war veterans.
Dr. Jeannie Chung understands that healthy skin is beautiful skin. She works closely with dermatologists and draws on her own expertise in cosmetic surgery and skin rejuvenation during aesthetic treatments that she hopes will promote an overall sense of wellbeing in her clients. Whenever possible, Dr. Chung and her staff use minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments and procedures. Some examples include Botox, chemical peels, and facials designed to combat signs of aging on the skin’s surface. When surgery is necessary—as is the case with neck and brow lifts, rhinoplasty, and skin-cancer remedies—Dr. Chung works carefully to help clients achieve their desired results without looking artificial.
A practicing physician for close to 30 years, Dr. Gert Walter ensures his patients are in safe hands with his board certification in emergency medicine. He built upon his vast experience in wound repair and skin healing and entered the field of aesthetic medicine, training at the Anti-Aging Institute in Texas. He also underwent advanced studies of Vaser technology—to such a degree that he was asked to train other medical professionals via webinar. Dr. Walter has earned numerous awards, press mentions, and recognition for his work, including being named a diamond provider of Botox Cosmetic and Juvéderm in the Allergan Partner Privileges program in 2012. Business partner and fellow staff member Stephanie Liatsis, RN, also trains physicians and nurses in administering cosmetic injectables.
Along with their specialized training, Dr. Walter and the medical team at Medical Aesthetics of New England use state-of-the-art equipment and medical-grade products to restore patients' youthful appearances. They employ the nonablative Affirm Multiplex laser to perform laser skin-tightening treatments, and the Cynosure Elite system to remove unwanted hair and brown spots.
A Center for Aesthetic Surgery's Dr. Stephen Scully helms a team of technicians who refurbish visages with 30-minute microdermabrasion sessions. During the noninvasive treatment, a technician smoothes a wand across the skin to blast away dead skin cells with aluminum-oxide crystals. The gentle resurfacing gives weary faces a new lease on life by eliminating acne, fine lines, and blemishes and sloughing off sequins from last year's masquerade ball. Boasting bolstered collagen and elastin production, skin leaves the treatment looking softer, smoother, and more youthful. With little to no downtime needed, patients can immediately return to their normal day-to-day activities, relishing in passersby exclaiming, "Look at that infant doing its own grocery shopping!"
