Since 1999, founder Lino DiFelice has paid tribute to his Italian heritage with customized micro-batch wines made to customers’ specifications—often by the customers themselves. Armed with more than three decades in the business, a staff of experienced oenophiles, and grapes from Italy, France, and California, DiFelice is able to guide his guests through the bottling process as they select the flavors that best suit their tastes. At tastings, customers can mix a concoction from scratch and wait for the fermentation process, or select one of Vintages’ signature reds and whites.
Located a short drive from Denver in the Napa Valley of Beer, the Anheuser-Busch Brewery brings beer classes to the masses from inside its state-of-the-art facilities. During the 35- to 45-minute classes, an official beer-school instructor instructs the barley-curious in the art of storing brews, choosing the correct glass, prepping glass, pouring correctly, and tasting different beers. Before heading out, you'll get a slew of grain-loving gifts, including a guaranteed ticket to the next free brewery tour to see how the beverages are crafted. What made you want to work with food? When did you first develop that passion?
Chef and owner Howard Brigham grew up in Fort Collins. His parents managed local restaurants here, and he began working in them at the age of 15. He developed his skills and love of creative cuisine over the years, and is proud to own a restaurant in his hometown.

In your own words, how would you describe your menu?
At d'Vine, we use fresh and local ingredients whenever possible. We are a scratch kitchen, and take pride in serving our customers American food with a Mediterranean flair. Our menus change with the season, so we can keep offering our customers new and exciting menus.
Though Black Bottle Brewery hosts guest drafts on its lengthy line of taps, its own creations are immediately recognizable by the matte black bottles that serve as handles. These beers bear names matching the oddball humor of their creators, such as the "Mexican Hipster," an IPA aged in tequila barrels, and the "Social Insecurity," a low-alcohol Belgian session ale. The brewers may be seen tending to the fermenters in fake mustaches and Batman briefs, but their craft is entirely serious, extending to the use of a true copper kettle and locally sourced ingredients. The brewpub's menu shows off a similar level of artistry, from the savory flavors of a meat and cheese plate to the pure efficiency of a fresh-shucked oyster immersed in a shot of the house's beer.
True to its name, Feisty Spirits' logo is a winking specter. This image emblazons every barrel of the distillery's aged whiskey, its winking visage hinting at the mischief and wonder inside. For there's a sense of playful experimentation that goes into crafting the flavor profile for each drink. The flagship bourbon, for example, is subtly nutty and earthy, while the cinnamon whiskey uses only a dash of the aromatic spice, which makes for a sweet finish and prevents you from roaring flames after every sip. Guests can see how these creations are made from the tasting room, where a window peers right into the distilling area. Here, ingredients boil and condense in a large, shining still.
Ten Bears Winery produces smooth, handcrafted wines through a fermentation process that involves french-oak aging and an exclusive winter-hibernation technique. To begin, the facility’s winemaker hand-selects the finest grapes available, and by the time those grapes reach the bottling line, they’ve been transformed into easy-to-drink, well-balanced Colorado wines, many of which populate the shelves at local retailers. For a more personalized wine-drinking experience, Ten Bears also offers private tastings and a custom labeling service that adorns bottles with company logos, pictures, and personal pager numbers.
