What sets your business apart from your competition?
Every session is customized. While I definitely use my creative eye and intuition, I want to achieve the look that you desire. My sessions are 100% tailored to you.
What was the inspiration for starting this business?
I always enjoyed looking at photos taken of me, my family, and my friends. I cherish those memories. I want to help others capture those same memories and tell their stories.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
I had a customer who wanted to have her senior photos done. She stressed several times that she had not found a photographer that she "liked" enough, but she had heard good things about me. She was a "city kitty" and did not want a standard senior session. She wanted something more high fashion. I drove her around the city and did her session in some awesome locations. It was exactly what she wanted. She told me she felt like a super model and that she was so impressed with her images and her special day. It was all about her. That's how I strive for every session to be.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
Meeting new people. I love to make new friends and to help those friends capture their special memories. When you make someone feel special, they will return and you can help them and be an intricate part of helping tell their stories year after year.
Heather Turner converted her passion for photography into a successful business, drawing inspiration from her photographer grandfather. In addition to photographing her own daughters, Turner captures colorful portraits of babies, kids, families, mothers-to-be, and brides. She then distributes digital images and prints in black and white or color, which can be framed and placed artfully atop mantles, grand pianos, or chocolate frosted sheet cakes.
