Oasis Nails owner Hannah Vo first found her passion for taking care of others while working as a nurse in Vietnam. Today she channels that nurturing nature into services designed to help customers look and feel their best. Beyond the studio’s signature manicures and pedicures, Vo and her staff specialize in waxing, tinting, and eyelash extensions, and can refresh weary countenances with exfoliating facials or moisturizing pie fights upon request.
Salon Hermosa first cut the opening ribbon in 2000. Since that time, the salon staff has swelled to a team of 18 professionals, who provide hair and spa services ranging from facials to men’s haircuts. With an arsenal of products from Morrocanoil, Kenra, and Redken by their side, Salon Hermosa’s hairstylists create looks customized to each client’s specification. The beautification oasis also leads a double-life as a boutique, stocked with nail polishes, jewelry, and handbags large enough to hold smaller handbag.
Andrea Belles, the digit artist behind Nails by Dre, pampers hands and feet with traditional spa mani-pedis. But she also adds long-lasting color to nails with gel polishes and red carpet-worthy shimmer with glitter polishes, sparkling tips, and crushed paparazzi flash bulbs. Her sets of acrylic nails add manmade length and strength to fingertips, while her paraffin treatments soften dry, overworked skin. Click here to view a gallery of Dre's work.
When it comes to doing hair, there isn't much that the four stylists at Studio 209 Salon haven't tackled before. Specialists in hair extensions and color correction, they can also handle perms, modern cuts, and all sorts of up-dos, including the retro pin-up styles that have become increasingly popular with bridal parties and time travelers.
After a day spent walking around Westfield Galleria, Galleria Nails can look particularly enticing. Inside, owner Tiffany Tran and her team of licensed nail technicians pamper with massages, paraffin wax wraps, sugar scrubs, and mani-pedis. But they can do more than just groom hands and feet, they can transform them with coats of Shellac polish, 3D nail art, or hand-painted flowers that double as camouflage provided you're holding a bouquet.
Exactly 21 things matter to the technicians at Royal Nails Carmichael: 10 toes, 10 fingers, and the client they belong to. The salon's service menu focuses on skin and nails, with treatments that include hot-oil manicures and deluxe pedicures. To thank your nails for helping out with that scratch-off lotto ticket or territorial bear, opt for a specialty application of gel polish, acrylics, or white tips.
