Christina Studios takes its name from Christina D. Passanise, who has worked as a makeup artist and aesthetician for more than 14 years. Ms. Passanise specializes in makeup for weddings and other special occasions. She travels on-location for these events, often bringing along a hairstylist to complete looks. The beauty expert also works out of Clare's of Clayton Salon, where she makes over clients with spa services such as PCA peels. She also works with models and occasionally appears on television programs to dish out beauty tips.
Face Enhancements' skincare treatments include facials, peels, and body scrubs, all designed to restore youth and radiance. Take the parsley-and-cucumber oxygenating treatment, which tones and purifies skin and spurs cellular repair, or the Flaxx-C anti-aging facial, which helps smooth wrinkles and tighten the skin. Face Enhancements also offers lash extensions, nail treatments, and permanent makeup.
Liz Davis loves drama. Dramatic color and dramatic style; they’re both a part of her cosmetic flair. Her portfolio shows off this bombast, particularly in her hairdressing chops, a skill that was first cultivated as a Paul Mitchell student. Bangs form a sharp diagonal down the forehead, and dueling shades of curls intertwine to form a shape and pattern akin to a peppermint. The hues come from professional lines such as Schwarzkopf and Pravana Vivids, and the original cuts are the work of her own scissors, razors, and pet falcon's beak. Liz also beautifies faces with makeup application, brow shaping, and lash tinting.
Since 1990, So Natural Institute has been embellishing eyebrows, lips, and peepers with permanent makeup, thickening eye fringe with lash extensions, and misting on airbrush makeup. The salon’s certified permanent-cosmetics professionals amplify lids with indelible eyeliner, ruby-ify lips, and restore brows that have vanished after years of tweezing or hair-singeing experiments with baking soda and vinegar. The expertly applied enhancements, which take about an hour to apply, render lipstick and eyeliner as obsolete as an Esperanto-speaking lamplighter and last for years, with minimal touchups sometimes required after a few years.
Permanent Great Looks Salon & Spa’s team of spa technicians enhances exteriors with a comprehensive menu of skin, body, and nail treatments. Manicure services provide customers with nails painted with Shellac polish that protects against chips for up to two weeks, even after wearers build sand castles to store stockpiles of shucked oyster shells. Toes simmer in heated bubble basins before curling up in steamy towels in the pedicure room, and aestheticians stationed in serene private rooms treat skin to body scrubs designed to polish surfaces and stir circulation. The active ingredients in body-scrub formulas range from Dead Sea salt to organic brown sugar steeped with essential oils and more conducive to soft skin than intercepting sneezes from the Marshmallow Man.
