Tell us about your business.
[It’s] a one-stop-shop for the mind, body and soul. We provide a unique approach to healing. Many of our customers travel from all over Ohio for our outstanding services and to receive attention from our extremely compassionate staff.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I have always been a natural healer from as early as my childhood. It wasn't until I had started taking prerequisites in college that I realized what my true calling was.
What is one of your signature services? How is it performed?
Hypnotic massage. It is a unique service that integrates a therapeutic massage with our heart-centered hypnotherapy. Personally, I combine the massage and the hypnosis in the same session . . . another option is to have the therapeutic massage before the hypnosis session. You could also have our hypnotherapist sit in the room with you during your massage treatment and engage you in the hypnotherapy process. We intentionally pair these two services together to assure ultimate healing results that will be imprinted deeply within your cellular tissue and deeper into the subconscious mind to assure the results stick.
Do you offer your customers any extra perks?
We have complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in our waiting-room area. We provide cold water after massage sessions to flush out toxins. We also have a wide range of reading materials as well as cable television in the waiting room.
Anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Our one-stop-shop keeps growing. We are in the process of developing our unique yoga studio and café downstairs from our current location with a tentative grand opening for this fall.
As a holistic nutrition consultant, Sarah Saxby helps others by shedding light on dietary topics and lifestyle goals. Her venture into nutrition consultation began when she became a mother of three. For Sarah, parenthood presented a multitude of questions and concerns about what her children were eating. So she began researching ingredients and paying more attention to nutritional information, realizing along the way that one-size-fits-all diet plans are simply ineffective. Today, Sarah carries that philosophy into her work, helping clients map out paths to healthier, happier lives by devising diet and lifestyle plans based on specific needs and goals.

Guidestone works to equip and empower children and families to reach their full potentials, driven by its faith-based vision of creating strong communities where future generations are self-reliant, educated, and fulfilled. Its programs—designed particularly to help children and families in need—help preserve family relationships and aim to reduce the need for future interventions by courts or social services. For instance, the MomsFirst program assists new mothers, including those currently in jail, living in shelters, or participating in rehab, with health and social-service needs such as parenting classes or birth control. Other programs include case management for children dealing with the local juvenile court.
