Curves is a fitness center designed exclusively for women; each membership can be used toward unlimited visits as well as free weight-management classes led by trained professionals. Curves houses a circuit of hydraulic resistance machines designed to work with women's bodies to promote weight loss, protect against osteoporosis, and cope with arthritis. Instead of guests fiddling with weight stacks and losing momentum, the hydraulic machines use body weight and fitness level to create resistance that matches each exerciser's abilities. Because traditional lift-and-lower motions create bulky muscles, machines use push-and-pull motions to create toned, lean muscles perfect for crushing a grapefruit without looking like you can. Every thigh- or torso-transformer is equipped with the CurvesSmart personal-coaching system, which uses programmed information on weight, endurance level, and fitness goals to automatically calibrate the perfect challenge for individual bodies. The CurvesSmart system also delivers a postworkout rundown on the strength built and progress achieved during each session. An experienced trainer is always nearby to help manage machine-maneuvering and to squirt overheated guests with a Super Soaker.
[[m:####The Eagle Ridge Golf Course
The Eagle Ridge Golf Course’s 18-hole layout takes golfers loping across 6,526 yards of rolling terrain that beckons to birdie-hunters with a player-friendly, par 72 layout. Throughout the round, players attempt to land skyscraping drives or paper airplanes forged from their opponent’s scorecard in the middle of kempt fairways that arch over cresting hilltops on a path to relatively small, elevated greens. Though the undulated landscape affords golfers picturesque views across the layout, it also bears the threat of unfavorable lies, forcing golfers to showcase their ability to soundly strike balls positioned below their feet, around their knees, or balanced on a fellow player's nose. An onsite driving range helps players warm up before the round, and Eagle Ridge caters to clubbers of all ages and abilities with four tee options.

Helmed by LPGA Class A instructor Kathy Hester, Mississippi’s OnTarget Golf Schools build smooth, dependable swings during six one-hour, weekly classes. The six-session program allows instructors to mold pupils’ form by breaking the swing down into its component parts, introducing sound techniques and allowing ample practice repetitions to commit concepts to muscle memory, where they will join riding a bicycle and swallowing oversize jawbreakers on command. Golf gurus also teach clubbers to hit practice shots with a target in mind, developing a subconscious association between their ball’s destination and the shot required to reach it. Clients can consult the schedule for upcoming classes. Online map directions might not be completely accurate, so customers should call ahead if they've never visited any of the courses before. Clubs will be available upon request.
Strike Entertainment charms clans with themed and open bowling in their 25,000-square-foot family fun center. Quartets commandeer one of twelve polished lanes, a hodgepodge of neon orbs, and palmfuls of pizza to fuel two hours of bowling amidst an outer space–themed backdrop bedecked in planets and rocket ships commuting in from Milky Way suburbs. Funky Monkey bowling sessions thrill tots with a goofy spin on traditional ten-pin knockout and fuzzy cameos from the facility's friendly banana-loving mascot. Friday and Saturday nights, bulbs bathe alleys in the royal-blue tones of blacklights during Mystic bowling hours, illuminating colorful bowling balls and whitening toothpastes used to keep pins unblemished.
