Jillian's talented team buffs up fading cuticle bonnets and styles follicular drapery by combining honed techniques with top-notch products from brands such as Pureology and OPI. With each manicure service, doting detailers file, smooth, and shape finger shingles, before slathering surfaces in a Shellac polish to leave them as radiant as a volcano-powered light bulb for up to two weeks. Those whose nails already dazzle can opt for a thorough head-edit. Each styling session begins with a shampoo to purge noodle nests of old gum and Bazooka Joe comic strips. Then hair whisperers trim tresses into accentuating face frames and blow-dry mangled manes into fashionable 'dos. To further follicular transformations, take 20% off an eyebrow wax, which bolsters crumbling arches and leaves expressers of surprise functioning properly.

Certain hairstyles look good on certain facial shapes. When a client asks for a haircut you know will be a mismatch for them, how do you handle it?
By suggesting other alternatives and educating the client as to why their original choice wouldn't be as complimentary [in] my professional opinion.
For many people, a trip to the salon is a way to enjoy some "me time." What supplemental courtesies do you offer to make guests feel relaxed?
A Christian atmosphere, great customer service, with much consideration. Aiming to please, sooth, and satisfy all of our clients' needs. We understand that a trip to the salon is a mini get away, and we put forth our best efforts to make it worth it.
What's the number one grooming tip every person should know?
It's important to keep your hair trimmed [of] split ends to avoid thinning and promote hair growth. A healthy head of hair can be spotted miles away.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We are known for getting our clients in and out with little to no waiting. We welcome walk-ins, but to ensure little to no waiting, we highly recommend booking appointments with a 24-hour notice.
Your hair’s sure to feel silkier once your stylist conditions it—learn why with Groupon’s close-up look at conditioner.
Although human hair may look smooth, each strand's outer layer—the cuticle—is actually quite rough. Under dry conditions, the tiny scales that cover its surface become raised and brittle, causing hairs to tangle and lose their shine. Conditioner aims to correct this problem by bonding a particular class of molecules, called cationic surfactants, to the cuticle. This is possible because keratin, the protein that makes up most of the hair shaft, bristles with negative ions, which attract the positively charged surfactants, coating each thread in a thin film that weighs it down and reduces frizz. (The negative charge of keratin is also what causes static whenever positive ions are stripped from the hair—the static that makes it possible to stick a balloon to the wall or to power a miner's headlamp.)
The other ingredients in conditioner don't always need ions to do their jobs well. Humectants suck in water from the surrounding air, thereby moisturizing the hair, and oils simply penetrate the cuticle. Glossers coat the hair with light-reflecting polymers, increasing shine, whereas other ingredients raise the acidity level of the conditioner, which helps protect the hair's protein structure.
