Dr. Andrew Hall's love of tending to teeth has led him across the country and the globe. After returning from a deployment in Iraq, where he provided dental services for nearly 2,500 soldiers and civilians, he set out again, this time for training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, which specializes in neuromuscular and cosmetic dentistry. Today, he couples his advanced experience with advanced dental technology such as Cerec 3-D imaging, which helps him to create precise-fitting crowns in around an hour and negates the need to implant temporary crowns or tiny, tooth-colored construction cones. His office also caters to nervous patients with the use of NuCalm, a natural relaxation aid that joins forces with soothing music to bring bodies to a presleep-like state of calm.
When golfers approach the elevated first tee box at Gleneagle Golf Club, they’re greeted by a view of Pikes Peak and the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains hovering on the horizon and the U.S. Air Force Academy campus sprawling below. From this panoramic overlook, they send golf balls screaming against the course’s dramatic backdrops, with lines carefully orchestrated by designer Frank Hummel so golfers never have to worry about hitting a low-flying stealth bomber. The course rewards accuracy off the tee, with the par of 72 often attainable only for those players who can manage to stay within the confines of the narrow fairways. After finishing up with the reachable-in-two par 5 18th hole, golfers can head indoors to the club’s La Zingara Italian Restaurant to escape the sun and dine on classic Italian entrees such as veal, pasta, and Neapolitan-style pizza. Course at a Glance: * 18-hole, par 72 course * Total length of 7,230 yards from the back tees * Course rating of 74.6 from the back tees * Four sets of tees per hole * Scorecard

Pikes Peak Athletics founders Anna and George Heidinger are a real power couple: he's worked for years as a strength conditioning and swim trainer, she as a swim club coach and former Olympic Trails qualifier. But their decades of aquatic achievement haven't made them narrowly focused swimmers whose skin starts shriveling on dry land. In small-group and private lessons, they view even the most advanced students not as swimmers but as "people who swim," and, consequently, take a relationship-first approach to instruction.
The Heidingers are aided by a squad of experienced junior and senior coaches, each certified in CPR, first aid, and water safety—and each extensively shadowed by a head instructor and a benevolent water spirit before being turned loose to instruct on their own. Beyond basic lessons and intensive coaching, staff also organize seasonal swim teams, and lead an annual swim camp that helps students hone the four major strokes and other aquatic competition skills using video playback.
You might not leave Fitness University with a tangible degree, but that doesn't mean choosing a fitness major was for naught. Proof of a passing grade will just be evident in your physique instead of a piece of paper. At Fitness U, there are three majors: significant weight loss, strength training, and athletic conditioning. Depending on which one you pick, a workout plan will be custom tailored to help you successfully complete your major. A signature session could include Muffin Top Massacre, an introductory class for women who have at least 25 pounds to lose.
