At their premier equestrian facility in The Woodlands, Trainers Milo Jones and Koren Mercer work with trainer-instructor Alonna Cole to cultivate show-worthy partnerships between student and steed. Private lessons are available for beginner to advanced riders, starting at age six, and help riders of all ages and experience levels focus on their individual progress and personal riding goals in a positive environment. Lone Star's students and horses frequently go on to participate in competitions, and even brought home a division win from the 2012 World's Champion Horse Show.
SKATE Champions proves that the roller disco of the 1970s lives on. Lit by the electric glow of neon lights and under the spell of infectious dance music, skaters glide and twist across an enormous rink of polished hardwood. Kids celebrate birthdays with parties featuring pizza, ice cream, and hours of skating, while adults let loose during 80s-themed soirees, replete with with DJs, a privately reserved rink, and brick-sized cellphones as party favors. Camp and daycare keeps kids engaged and exercising during lazy summer vacations, while classes teach students of all ages how to skate backward, jump, and spin with confidence.
Tucked away on 15 acres of timbered and trailed property, the family-owned, family-oriented Loveland Ranch sprawls before visitors a multitude of horseback-related activities. Guide-accompanied trail rides trot across the property and along Spring Creek, and private and group lessons instruct students in skills such as feeding, tacking, and grooming. During summer months, children's laughter gushes over the property as campers explore, fish, and swim in the creek.
