The massage therapists at Healthy Body Massage strive to help clients better understand their bodies both mentally and physically. They work to promote a sense of wholeness and self-awareness, employing specialized modalities depending on each visitor’s particular needs. Swedish and lomi-lomi techniques may foster a deep sense of relaxation, and neuromuscular therapy and lymphatic drainage aim to encourage the body’s natural healing process. During some treatments, the staff rubs skin with moisturizing salves mixed in-house from organic coconut oils. Massage isn’t the studio’s only soothing service: the staff also pampers its clients with other spa treatments. Facials can incorporate everything from antioxidant-rich serums to scented essential oils, and body scrubs use Dead Sea salts or organic brown sugar to gently exfoliate the skin. To help firm and tone torsos, the staff also applies wraps of natural, mineral-rich seaweed harvested from the dwelling-places of the world’s sveltest manatees.
A Healing Massage Room’s Leslie Heinricher goes where she is needed. Some days, she whisks to an injury clinic to assist car-accident victims; others, she appears at spas, robed in the aromatic mist of essential oils. Leslie wards off pain and suffering with therapeutic strokes honed at the Florida School of Massage. Her Swedish massages fight tension with gentle taps and circular motions that dislodge knots and boost blood flow. She custom-blends soothing techniques including neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release to ease pains associated with whiplash, sports injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other ailments. Leslie also specializes in energy treatments such as reiki and polarity therapy, which clear blockages and toll booths interfering with the body’s energy pathways.

Chenita Dickerson is an artist in many forms. An aspiring cartoon artist and book illustrator, she has displayed her work in magazine pages, art galleries, and on stage. As a licensed cosmetologist, she’s also displayed her skills on the heads of happy clients.
At Hair is Artistry Too, Chenita trades in her paint brushes and pencils for scissors and blow dryers. She removes split ends and adds ombre color or full foil highlights to craft exciting new looks when you’re tired of your hair or have to help an action hero tell you apart from a clone. She can also sew in hair extensions or glue in a quick weave to add fullness and length to hair.
Aside from beautifying clients, Chenita uses her art for other good by selling art through Autism Artistry and donating some of her proceeds to the Nathaniel’s Hope charity for kids with special needs.
At Massage Connection, licensed massage therapists aim to ensure that "every sight, sound, smell, and touch" makes clients feel good. While kneading muscles with light or firm hand movements, massage professionals attend to the client's comfort level, adjusting their methods to optimize relaxation and muscle health. Massages target basic aches and pains as well as the needs of expectant mothers, athletes, and milkmaids. Other spa services, including body scrubs and mud-mask treatments, draw out impurities and leave skin feeling supple. In contrast to relaxation-based options, sauna-treatment sessions promote weight-loss by warming the body, inducing sweating, and burning fat.
