There, his guests can buy and sell firearms or practice their aim at the eight-lane, 25-yard indoor range. Visitors seeking more guided instruction can earn licenses by completing D and G classes. Miami Guns Inc. also hosts low-light pistol and self-defense-tactics courses, which include 100 rounds of ammo, range time, a certificate of completion, and a T-shirt.

Most cigar shops reflect overstuffed Gilded Age opulence, with leather chairs, mahogany fixtures, and dim lighting leaving guests feeling a step out of time. Thankfully, 5 Star Cigarz isn’t most cigar shops. Its wooden floors and olive-trimmed white shelves bask in the natural light flooding in from floor-to-ceiling front windows.
