Gábor Pásztor has always loved sports, his passion and athleticism leading him to compete in international track-and-field meets on behalf of his home country, Hungary. Today, he brings his speed, endurance, and coordination skills to the United States to help a new generation of soccer and track-and-field stars hone their natural abilities at Citius Athletic Club Miami. At his club, he helms US Soccer Federation–registered soccer teams in competitive play against other local organizations. And he's serious about the sport: He holds practice with four different age groups of students—ranging ages 3–13—three times a week.
In addition to prepping youths for league play, he and his coaches lead fundamentals classes for beginning soccer players. The fundamentals classes cover the same skills and techniques as the competitive practices, but students aren't required to compete in games or maintain perfect pitch during the "National Anthem."
The friendly stylists at Jigsaw Hair Salon wield a wide range of Keune products as they customize hair services for women, men, teens, and children. Clients can watch their transformation play out in each station's teardrop-shaped mirror as stylist refresh color, straighten stands with Keratin and Japanese Chi treatments, and twirl tresses into elegant updos for special occasions. Within the professional yet relaxed atmosphere, clients are also beautified with French tip mani-pedis or makeup applications that show them how to apply cosmetics to highlight their best facial features or most regrettable tattoo.
When not giving their undivided attention to their clients, the salon's team spends time giving back to the community by participating in children's charity events including toy drives.
Pizza Primo's staff members scurry to patrons' front doors and table sides bearing fresh pizzas, pastas, and subs. The shop's chefs rise bright and early to make dough from scratch and concoct homemade pizza sauce with vine-ripened tomatoes and a house blend of spices. Raised in a stone oven, specialty pies come in all tastes and sizes such as the 14-inch Primo's Special ($13.99), piled with a meaty trio of sausage, pepperoni, and meatballs, and the 14-inch Greek pizza ($13.99), topped with black olives, feta cheese, and a pillar from the Pantheon. Off the beaten path of artful pies, diners can also indulge in a hot sausage-and-green-pepper sub ($5.99) or spin a fork through a hearty plate of fettucine alfredo ($7.99).
