"You can do it," is not just an empty phrase at Texas Tumblers Gymnastics, it's the cornerstone of their entire philosophy. The coaches teach their students confidence from the get-go as they work their way through complicated recreational gymnastics or prepare for competitions. They also teach dance to kids ages 3 and older, as well as helming a program called AllStars cheerleading. The positive teaching philosophy also carries over to classes for adults. The fitness program for fully grown students includes circuit training and dance cardio classes, but does not include lessons on how to pole vault over cubicle walls.
Texas Tumblers is a place where kids can develop a resilient attitude and where athletic achievements can help kids build character, confidence, and camaraderie. The route they take to reach that destination, though, is up to them. Texas Tumblers offers programs in tumbling, cheer, dance, and gymnastics, with each designed to help kids progress both physically and intellectually. Additionally, the facility plays host to a number of other fun events every month such as parties, sleepovers, afterschool programs, and women's fitness programs.
Since 2000, the experienced climbers at Boulders Sport Climbing Center have been helping visitors ascend not just walls, but also toward their goals. Each and every new climber undergoes the orientation and belay training, during which they get accustomed to the facility, the equipment, and chanting the mantra, "Don't Look Down." After that, they can try their hands and feet on the 40-foot walls, lead wall, free-standing boulder, or 30-foot rappel tower.
