Since 2001, Stroller Strides' fitness professionals and buggy-bandying workouts have helped mothers to overcome the struggles of staying in shape while caring for a wee one. Specially trained instructors helm a series of 60-minute classes, which consist of a warm-up, a power walk, and interval stations where limbs stretch resistance tubes in body-toning drills. The origin of Team Appleby Fitness is a tale of two Applebys. Steve Appleby grew up in Southern California, and led a very active lifestyle until the age of 17, when he lost his leg in a motorcycle accident. Determined, Steve rehabilitated and transformed himself, eventually making a career out of helping others do the same.
Tanya Appleby, meanwhile, hails from Northern California. For awhile, she led an inactive, unhealthy lifestyle. Then she met Steve in 2000. Inspired by his story, she, too, underwent a transformation, eventually dedicating herself to helping others just as Steve had years before. Today, Steve and Tanya both boast multiple certifications, including personal training. They combine their decades of experience to offer a variety of training programs, assisting clients in weight loss, muscle training, endurance training, and more.
