In 1976, Joan Barnes—a Californian mom frustrated with the lack of spaces where she could take her kids for safe and age-appropriate play time—took matters into her own hands and founded Gymboree Play & Music. In the decades since Gymboree’s founding, Joan’s vision of a safe place where youngsters could build confidence and creativity has come to fruition and spread to 30 countries around the globe. Staffed by attentive and expertly trained instructors, each Gymboree outpost adheres to a curriculum of activities designed by experts to foster the development of children’s’ cognitive, physical, and social skills through structured play and close readings of Goodnight Moon. The staffers also conduct entertaining classes that cover subjects ranging from music to sports, imparting valuable lessons of imagination and physical activity to developing minds. To further set apart her business, Barnes employed nationally renowned playground designer Jay Beck to design the proprietary play equipment at her centers.

Jason DeLaughter arrived at the idea for Insta Glam Photo Booth after stepping inside a photo booth himself. In combining this experience with the glitzy aesthetic of Las Vegas, Jason's booths take on a high-class atmosphere, with certain packages even including red carpeting, velvet ropes, and surly inflatable bouncers. Guests play into the glamorous extravagance as they don peculiar hats and play with props before following the kiosk's simple instructions. The system's customizable nature allows for rentals to be set up as traditional booths encircled by curtains or as an open-air space for fitting in large groups.

Dr. Richard Tillema has been caring for animals his entire life—he grew up on a dairy farm. He later operated a mobile pet-care clinic before establishing Tillema Veterinary Clinic, a brick-and-mortar spot for a variety of pet-care services. Here, he and his staff perform vaccinations, teeth cleanings, and surgeries, as well as less common treatments, such as acupuncture, cold-laser therapy, and home euthanasia. They also help pets lose weight and improve their health without purchasing schnauzer-size ellipticals.

For more than four decades, Soboba Medical Group's physicians have funneled their expertise into weight loss and nutrition, led by board-certified internist Dr. Allen Jay. Their custom treatment plans, based on each client’s history and weight-loss goals, incorporate medications such as nutritional supplements and lipotropics. Each plan facilitates initial weight loss, but also aids with long-term physical maintenance, preventing damaging yo-yo dieting.

To complement the weight-loss programs, the center offers supplementary treatments. Body wraps with vitamin B12, for example, are designed to relax and re-energize clients.

Founded on a mission to forge local educational partnerships and provide community enrichment through music, the non-profit Corona Symphony Orchestra treats Circle City ears to everything from choral classics and opera, to film scores, pops, and original pieces. Viva Italia! is a tribute to Italy's finest classical compositions not featured in Lady and the Tramp. Conducted under the watchful hand of symphony maestro Marco A. Mejia, eardrums will be enamored by Pietro Mascagni's "Intermezzo" from Cavalleria Rusticana, Felix Mendelssohn's fourth symphony Italian, and guest bassoonist Jason Artz's solo in Concerto for Bassoon, by Nino Rota. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so deal holders need only bring their Groupons to the will call 15 minutes before show time to enjoy a diverse sampling of Italy's sweetest symphonic sounds.
