At each of Crossroads Fitness' four locations throughout the Wastach Front, members of all ages build strong, healthy bodies through a regimen of group classes, personal training, and extensive wellness evaluations and health assessments. Registered dietitians and fitness experts help clients manage their fitness goals, while a schedule of BodyPump, Zumba, yoga, and resistance training burn away unwanted fat while building lean muscle. After leveling up their endurance and speed with sports-performance training or flexing their legs in a cycling class, members relax and rehabilitate muscles with on-site massage therapy.
The instructors at Fuze Fitness help clients get in shape with classes that combine energetic music, dance, and a fun atmosphere. Students can sign up for Flirty Girl, during which groups go through 24 intense dance moves. Some other options include Above the Barre and zumba, which incorporates dance-like routines set to heart-pumping music.
Of all the attractions inside The Wairhouse Trampoline Park's more than 30,000 square-foot facility, guests gravitate toward the trampoline courts. The main jumper court lets patrons who are 8 and older ricochet off the walls as well as the floor, and the junior-jump area lets kids 7 and younger get in on the fun. Elsewhere, back-to-back dodge-ball courts provide thrills for guests and spectators and four basketball-trampoline lanes encourage NBA-worthy dunks. Youngsters can also play video games in the facility's arcade, aptly named the Aircade, and adults can relax in the lounge area or cafe. Five private party rooms are available to rent for kids' birthday events.
Founder Joni Chapa and her instructors at Baile Dance Fitness Studio fuse exercise and dance with a creative lineup of classes. Some classes blend hip-hop and cardio, and others mix ballet with Pilates. Latin-inspired cardio dance classes get hearts racing to a soundtrack of cumbia, salsa, and reggaeton tunes.
When Fit to Dance Club hosts dance-fitness class, it carries a little extra weight. Of the three female trainers, one trained at the Royal Academy of Dance, and two danced their way to fitness through multiple pregnancies. The simple Latin-inflected dance moves of Zumba combine into cardio dance routines, whereas their Pilates sessions build long lean muscle. Their ballet aerobics classes focus on conditioning, toning, and building flexibility, rather than on performance techniques, such as quacking like a real swan for productions of Swan Lake. During Wednesday and Friday Mornings, “Play Group” offers childcare for moms while they work out; alternatively, parents can occupy their youngsters with kids’ ballet classes, which build a technical foundation and expose youngsters to the expressive power of dance.
Karve Studio's chief aim is in its name: to carve sculpted bodies with trim waistlines and lean but powerful limbs. Its instructors meet the task with the signature Karve workout, which fuses a variety of exercises into a single fitness regime. Ballet-barre moves, yoga, Pilates, core conditioning, and stretching work together to not only strengthen and tone but also add length to muscles.
