Dumbell racks, truck tires, sleds, and platforms sit inside the CrossFit Conyers facility, all awaiting exercisers ready to start down the path toward better health and fitness. The only problem is, they're rarely sitting still. Throughout the day, the CrossFit box's members are pushing, pulling, carrying, and jumping on top of these objects, all fighting to get through the Workout of the Day?or WOD?while encouraging one another to follow suit. Each WOD comprises a short, intense workout that changes with every visit to the gym and is designed to build a broad degree of functional fitness that can be relied upon when hiking tough mountain trails or playing chess with marble busts. Committed exercisers can expect improvement in a diverse array of fitness categories, from stamina and power to coordination and balance.
Inside the CrossFit Locust Grove facility, barbells, jerk boxes, strongman logs, truck tires, and a welcoming group of classmates await any exerciser willing to take the next step in their fitness goals. A crew of committed coaches leads what comes next, namely, Workouts of the Day (WOD). Each WOD comprises functional movements, all performed at high intensity while coaches and classmates shout encouragement. Over time, the WOD targets every major muscle group, which not only sculpts muscles but helps with performance in everyday tasks, such as grinding coffee with a bowling ball. Since the exercises are scalable?meaning they can be adjusted to fit everyone from beginners to elite athletes?all students who attend can expect to push their own limits in strength, balance, power, endurance, and agility.
No one inside CrossFit Clash works out alone. The gym?s trainers guide members every step of the workout, ensuring that they use the correct form and remain challenged with easily adjustable exercises. During any given workout, members can jump up on plyometric boxes, lift barbells, climb ropes, and swing kettlebells?all of which help them improve their strength, stamina, and agility. Clients can further transform their appearance with nutritional advice from the trainers, who know which foods help build muscle and which give you a hilarious blue tongue.

Although each of the seven Just Fitness 4U locations has its own distinctions?such as the Lawrenceville location's 24/7 hours or the Marietta location's 25,000 sq. ft. facility and marble lobby?they more or less share the same tools for getting in shape. For starters, each is furnished with state-of-the-art Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment, which can be used or lifted to increase strength. Moreover, the facilities have a team of certified personal trainers and group fitness instructors who lead one-on-one workouts and fitness classes such Pilates, Zumba, yoga, and spinning, respectively.
The instructors at GIS Boot Camp are dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals, going so far as to create a Fat Loss Accountability Group. The group includes weekly check-ins, members only coaching and support, and weekly food log reviews. This willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of their clients, beginners, intermediate, and advanced fitness enthusiasts alike, is seen elsewhere, as well. High intensity programs, such as boot camp and Triple AAA, target specific body parts and focus on toning muscle. They offer classes Monday through Friday at three locations, including Plus Youth Speed, Agility and Quickness classes, teen strength and conditioning classes, and Fit Over 40 women's only classes.
