I am a RN by training and a photographer by heart. I am lucky that I only have to work three days a week at the hospital and can enjoy four days off a week with my beautiful son Caden. I developed a love of photography because I wanted to capture every special moment my son had in a photograph. I wanted the pictures I took
At 12 years old, when most little girls fall in love with horses or boy bands, Brittany Moyer fell for the click of a shutter. Her passion didn't wane over the years, and at 17, she began snapping shots professionally. Since then, she has studied at Bowling Green University and immortalized a number of events and milestones. The wunderkind specializes in portraits of seniors, families, babies, engaged couples, and bands. Her shoots are held on-location and capture both candid and posed images. Afterward, Brittany preserves her clients favorite black-and-white or color pictures with products such as high-quality prints and high-resolution images on CD.
Though she’s always loved photography, Christa Hovey’s passionate involvement with the art form really took off after the birth of her twin daughters. She chronicled their developing personalities and memorable moments with her camera, eventually deciding that she wanted to offer the same service to other families. And so began Double The Love Photography, where she captures clients’ candid emotions and true characters through varied photo sessions. In addition to shooting family and child portraits with skill, she memorializes special events, such as weddings, engagements, and puppy proms.
New York Institute of Photography graduate Jeffrey Brown and his aesthetically savvy wife Jamie put women at ease during sultry boudoir sessions emphasizing confidence and comfort. A consultation precedes each one-hour shoot, allowing subjects to choose their wardrobe, aesthetic, and the physical features they wish to highlight. Photos are captured "in the round" within an elegant camera room that boasts a decorative array of specialty vignettes and sets. About two weeks following the shoot, photos are unveiled in the multimedia room so models can choose which setup they’d like to use for their custom 8"x10" portrait. The Incognito Portrait Design studio is nestled in a luxurious New York–style loft decorated with breathtaking wall portraits, soothing music, and a dressing suite armed with a battalion of cosmetic amenities, including blow dryers, curling irons, and hair products. The value of the 8"x10" portrait can be used toward a custom wall décor portrait, and all snapshot subjects should call ahead of an appointment.
Michelle Bova has a degree in early-childhood education and child development. She also has more than a decade of experience behind the camera. Yet it wasn't until recently that she combined the two. The results of this mix are carefully crafted, natural looking images that understand young subjects and find the youthful joy in all ages. Her shutter clicks document the growth of families, from maternity through newborns, birthdays, senior portraits, engagements, and weddings—memorializing the milestones life offers. Often Michelle does this documenting outside, where soft sunlight helps people glow and ensures all shots are vampire-free.
A soft focus surrounds the subjects in Love Photography's images, lending warmness to a close-up of a bride wearing her veil and dreaminess to a sultry couple posing together in a boudoir session. During these shoots, Love Photography’s team of photographers makes subjects feel at ease by scheduling complimentary consultations before the shutter even starts snapping. Like William Tell shooting an apple off his son’s head, the staff believes that practice makes perfect, and they’ve been practicing their photographic aim during weddings, family portrait sessions, and kids’ photo shoots since the studio opened in 1970.
