Armed with several hundred hours of yoga training and Yoga Alliance certifications, the instructors at Sage Yoga are well-versed in the traditional ways of yoga. They guide students of all ages and ability levels through the sequences of hot yoga, Vinyasa flow, and classical Hatha yoga. Whether in group classes or private training sessions, they give each student personal attention—and often incorporate essential oil compresses to ease tight muscles. All classes are held inside Sage Yoga's 1,500-square-foot studio space, where warm earth tones foster relaxation, and healthy drinks are available for purchase. Brandon Todd — who sometimes bills himself as "The 5'5" Dunker" — has dreamed of dunking since he was a little boy. He wore ankle weights and did 200 calf raises each morning in the hopes of catapulting himself up to that elusive rim. And then the day came that he finally made contact with the hoop. He was a 5-foot-tall seventh grader, and his obsession with basketball was just beginning. He began training harder than before, focusing both on his dunks and his overall game. Soon, he was flying up to the hoop with almost no visible effort.
Brandon didn't want his training breakthroughs to exist just for himself, so he created a 12-week program to help others achieve the same success that he enjoyed. He leads beginner, intermediate, and advanced athletes through intense workouts via different online instructive videos.

Spanning 18,000 square feet of turf-covered courts and batting cages, Raider's Edge hones bat-swinging skills with practice areas and instruction for individuals and groups. Baseball- and softball-pitching machines spit endless volleys of spheres, their speeds adjustable to accommodate both little leaguers and six-armed spider-men. The two spacious turf courts can also accommodate practice for soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey, and dual pitching lanes allow pitchers to perfect their craft side by side. Weekly exercise and softball practice programs focus on skills such as hitting, fielding, and pitching, and young players put their skills into practice as part of Raider’s Edge’s Red Raider softball teams.
In-home cooking lessons are lead by Happy Earth Yoga owner Stacey Milchman, a longtime foodie fanatic with worldly experience as a raw-vegan chef. Amidst helping her stressed-out exercisers achieve tranquility, Stacey aids aspiring herbivores in nourishing and flourishing in the comforts of their own home kitchen. Each veggie cooking lesson leads students through the preparation and devouring of three to four dishes, each derived from pre-set menus featuring vegetarian, vegan, and raw-vegan options. Through a hands-on learning approach, pupils hone their techniques and crank up the flavor dial with each scrumptious, plant-packed dish. Post clean-up, complete recipes are exchanged along with a few low-fives designed to signify achievement. To set up a cozy in-house lesson, just double check that you have a kitchen and email Happy Earth Yoga.
