Originally built in 1930, Spring Hill Golf Course spans 6,665 yards of kempt fairways lined by mature trees and interspersed water hazards. The par 72 course snakes through the charming Spring Hill College campus, challenging golfers with subtle elevation changes, six ponds, and rogue professors interrogating passersby about the lost history of the mashie niblick. The driving range prepares golfers for their 18-hole odyssey, which begins with an unforgiving first hole—a 435-yard par 4 rated the course's most difficult.
PGA professional Shane Allen oversees the stately grounds, employing digital video analysis in lessons for juniors, adults, and caddies desperate to determine their most intimidating post-putt howl.

Experienced photo gurus Doug Box and Randy Kerr impart practical photo skills to curious shutterbugs during engaging seminars that have appeared across the States and in eight countries abroad. Doug Box, author of myriad photography-technique books, is one of 13 Kodak mentors and is the Executive Director of the Texas Professional Photographers Association. His co-teacher, Randy Kerr, heads World Photographic, which uses photography as a vehicle for illuminating humanitarian and environmental topics. Both men have been teaching photography classes for years and help amateurs take photos that capture piercing looks, toothy smiles, and elusive dodo sightings.
Lucille Allen used to work with executives at tech companies. One day, though, she started training in the Bishnu Gosh lineage of yoga, and now she leads patrons through poses in warm rooms at Sterling Hot Yoga Works. Those rooms are heated to 104 degrees with 40% humidity, which helps muscles gain flexibility and move easily into different stances in sessions that last either 60 or 90 minutes. Drawing upon years of experience, Allen and her staff put those yoga poses to work to improve health and mental wellbeing alike. She'll even work with aspiring yoga instructors, providing the skills to lead classes on their own.
The family behind Phoenix Fitness furnished their facility with free weights and cardio equipment. In addition to teaching group classes, personal trainers lead one-on-one sessions complete with nutritional advice. Kids' classes help youngsters stay in shape, have fun, and train for their favorite sports. The gym's tanning booths tint muscles a toasty shade of gold, and onsite childcare gives little ones a chance to play or show off their super-human strength.
