The history of The Media Theatre for the Performing Arts is a continuously evolving non-profit professional theatre company. The venue has been operating as a professional theatre since the year 1993 serving the Greater Philadelphia region. We remain today a Media landmark.
At two locations, Top Hat Dance Studio's passionate team of nationally certified teachers inspires dancers of all skill levels to shuffle off to Buffalo while hustling, salsaing, and waltzing across the dance floor. During group lessons, skilled instructors teach guests to untangle left feet while performing intricate, stylized choreography in the Lancaster location's two-step, ballet, and West Coast swing classes or the Philadelphia location's salsa, bachata, and advanced-level chicken-dance classes. Fledgling fleetfooters can supplement group sessions with private lessons, during which feet will learn to tap out Morse-code messages to a far-away dance partner while sharpening skills with one-on-one instruction. In addition to these dance classes, instructors also specialize in preparing engaged couples for their first dance and offer a number of specially designed youth programs.
Living Arts Dance Studios offers dance lessons for children and adults, along with self-defense, karate, and kick-boxing lessons. The philosophy of Living Arts Dance Studio is that dance can benefit children by introducing them to performing arts at an early age. Their mission is to help young children find positive outlets for their energy so they will do well later on in life. Studies have proven that kids who get involved in music, art and dance at young ages do well in their other scholastic studies. Living Arts Dance & Fitness Studios also takes adults who are ready to learn some new moves. They stress that dance is an excellent way to have fun and stay fit. Adult classes include praise dance, Zumba, African dance, belly dancing, boot camp and many more.

Written by Richard Greenberg, Take Me Out centers on Darren Lemmings, an arrogant superstar on the New York Empires whose coming out of the closet irrevocably alters the national pastime. Amid the anger of deeply racist and homophobic teammate Shane Mungitt, the admiration of gay financial manager Mason Marzac, and the reactions of other players in the locker room, the only person who seems unaffected by the revelation is Darren himself. Watch the drama swirl around the ego-ridden protagonist both on and off the field, but always on the stage, at the Plays & Players performance of your choice.
