Fernando Nicolas "Nico" Clavijo knows a thing or two about soccer. The son of former USA World Cup player and National Soccer Hall of Famer Fernando Clavijo, Nico was exposed to world-class play from a very young age. He grew up to start a successful career of his own, playing for C.A. Atenas in Uruguay, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, and currently, a professional beach team that competes internationally in front of pods of vuvuzela-blowing whales.
Nico pools all of that experience into Clavijo Soccer Academy, where he dribbles wisdom into open ears during private and group lessons. He uses the facility to school young players, especially, in an effort to bolster the USA soccer presence amongst global powers such as Brazil, Spain, and Argentina.
