While everyone who's ever picked up a golf club pictures themselves stepping up to the first tee at Augusta National and smashing a gentle draw down the center of the fairway, the fact of the matter is, the vaunted course lies beyond the skill set of the vast majority of players. High-handicappers need courses that are aligned to their strengths, which is precisely where Cooper Colony Golf Center enters the picture. The 18-hole executive course weighs in at an accessible 3,820 yards with a par of 60, and eschews overwhelming distance, glasslike greens, and flaming fringes for holes that make the game fun for beginners. Those golfers who need help fixing swings can tap PGA pro Gary Braeseke for lessons, or head to the driving range for some solo time tweaking swing mechanics.

What is a typical session of your program or class like for a student?
On a tour of the facility, newcomers may notice that the studio is free of treadmills. We introduce students to the rigors of CrossFit. After getting familiar with the techniques of high-intensity interval training, they can jump into the full-blown sessions to build lean muscle and strength using kettlebells, Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics, and running.

The stain slayers at Pine Lake Laundry ameliorate household laundry duties by offering expert washing, folding, and ironing services for a wide range of hard-to-clean items. Tote in a week's worth of soiled colors and whites for wash-and-fold service, ($1.10/lb.), and the friendly staff will sort it, bleach it if necessary, help it with its homework, and pack it up to go home looking as neat and crisp as the day it first showed up on your closet's doorstep. Dry-cleaning services eschew the rough cycles of the washing machine in favor of extracting dirt and stains with gentle, effective chemistry. Spruce up a pair of slacks ($5), relieve bedroom comforters of unintentional cookie crumbs and milk moustaches ($30), or thoroughly freshen a suit for upcoming business meetings or formal events ($10). Clothes that are clean but crumpled can opt out of bath time and put the heat on unflattering folds instead, compliments of the shop's ironing services ($2.25+/item), and extra hangers are available for purchase to help newly pressed pants maintain their new orderly outlook.
The fitness fanatics at Extreme Nutrition opened their first store in 2009, and have since expanded to several locations across Florida. In less than five years, the company has earned a notable reputation by offering worldwide shipping on its vitamins and sports supplements and by hosting celebrity-bodybuilder autograph signings and piano tosses.
BrickFit Fitness and Wellness is a boutique gym with reformer-based Pilates classes, ballet barre workouts, and spinning sessions. But it also doubles as a wellness center, where two doctors?Dr. Joseph Horgan and Dr. Susan Manella?supervise customized weight-loss regimens. The two facilities reinforce each other, for example a weight-loss program could incorporate fitness classes, or a massage at the wellness center could prime muscles for a Pilates class.
Though Elite International Dance Academy began with only a few classes and a handful of students, the studio earned a growing following with its combination of accessible instruction and enthusiastic teachers. Since its opening, the studio has tripled its curriculum to include 15 dance styles, including the hustle, fox trot, belly dancing, bachata, and salsa. Both kids and adults gather in the academy’s noncompetitive environment, where instructors teach dance steps with easy-to-follow directions. The schedule also includes summer camps and workshops, as well as Zumba classes—cardio workouts using Latin-inspired dance routines to sizzle more calories than toasting marshmallows dipped in lighter fluid.
