Aesthetic Alternatives' certified, skin-savvy staff clears the sands of time from faces and necks, unveiling refreshed mugs with a one-hour microdermabrasion treatment. Practiced hands employ exfoliation and slight suction to distance visages from fine line and wrinkles, stimulating blood flow and the production of new cells until skin surfaces are smoother and more brilliant than Plato on a dance floor. Throughout the scrubbing session, an exfoliant clears out cellular clutter, reducing pore and blemish visibility for a brighter complexion, and eliminating blackheads and helping lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Having resolved at a young age to pursue his passion for green building, Jeff Kaplan created the Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders Program when he was just 21 years old. In late 2007, Jeff started The Green Painter by New Living, a green building and home store whose high environmental standards earned the shop a B Corporation certification. Today, New Living sells exclusively eco-friendly products from ethical businesses. Kaplan's efforts at revitalizing Houston's small businesses and affinity for wearing capes earned him the title of Green Hero from the U.S. Green Building Council.
