Neuromuscular therapist Ilana Spodak relieves clients of chronic pain with a combination of massage, orthopedic therapy, and exercise. Her client list includes those who have suffered injuries, professional athletes, and full-contact Twister players, and she's worked alongside lauded surgeons and neurologists while honing her healing skills. But the person who most strongly influenced Ilana's career is her own mother, who was debilitated by an auto accident. Her experience while healing is what inspired Ilana to pursue a career in pain relief.
At Muscular Rehabilitation Center of Florida, along with director Mary Engroff, P.T., P.A.C., she calls upon this personal connection to help others heal, providing services that include not only neuromuscular and massage therapy, but also sports therapy. She and her team also work to correct poor posture caused by sitting at a desk all day.
