Photographer Elizabeth Monge has yet to meet the portrait subject from whom she can’t coax a relaxed, natural smile. Monge's friendly, jokey demeanor has a lot to do with it. So does her laid-back, unhurried approach to conducting a portrait session. She thinks of the first 15 minutes of any shoot as just a warm-up, a chance to let the subject start to feel comfortable in front of the camera. This sense of ease and comfort is key to Monge's work, which has a candid quality that captures each sitter's personality without stiff, forced posing.
In the 13 years since she graduated with a degree in photography from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Monge has developed a signature style rich with vibrant colors and a sense of whimsy. She feeds her passion for edgy photos and haute couture with a commercial career as a fashion photographer. In turn, her eye for editorial photography informs her portraiture, from the artistic composition of each frame to the inclusion of a Karl Lagerfeld cutout in every photo.

At Lamy and Roy Photography, veteran shutterbugs Jean-Claude Roy and Jean Lamy combine their individual styles into one art-producing operation. The more experienced half of the duo, Jean-Claude, or "J.C." to many, has earned recognition on both a national and international scale while snapping shots of people from all walks of life. Likewise, Lamy has flashed his photographic prowess around Delray for more than half a decade, and has garnered acclaim for his post-processing work, especially. Together, Roy and Lamy capture timeless moments in their studio and on-location at special events, including parties, communions, and graduations.
Zachary Goldberg founded Forever Studios with the intention of helping others create, preserve, and share their most important moments. But it's not so much what Zachary and the Forever Studios team does–it's how they do it. In addition to high-quality photo shoots, the company can produce cinematic-quality montages set to music or build custom-designed hardcover photo books. And while the the team enjoys snapping new family portraits, they can also restore old ones using digital technology.
Perhaps Forever Studios' most unique service are its movie autobiographies. In those, subjects are filmed telling their own story, all while a cinematic montage of images–such as personal photos, video clips, or mug shots–fill in the gaps between the words. The studio will even research a family's history to tell a more meaningful and complete story.
