At Nail Day, hands and feet get the ultimate pampering treatment as all nail services include a scrub, massage, and warm towels. Lavender or rosemary-mint spa treatments take the pampering to the next level with salt soaks, salt-glow gel, and hydration. And chair massages further tackle tension.
In addition to pamper, the spa is dedicated to sanitation. For example, each customer purchases their own manicure kit that includes a brand new file, sanding file, and orangewood stick.
At Salon Foushee and Spa, the multitalented team pampers and transforms clients from head to toe with hair products by Paul Mitchell and skin products by Dermalogica. Customers consult hair designers for a new look. Within the color bar, stylists create traditional hues or highlights that are as modern as the gray- and silver-themed decor. Black-and-white armless chairs set the stage for spa treatments in a separate area designed for total relaxation. Aestheticians analyze complexions inside each skincare suite, and nail artists soothe hands and feet with fragrant moisturizers and heated neck wraps.
Inside Sparrow Stylin' Salon's bright, open space enhanced by a floor-to-ceiling Tiffany-blue wall, stylists revamp locks with fresh styles and color. Stylists beautify hair in a number of ways: from a windswept blowout to hair extensions or trendy cuts. In addition to hair care, they also complement lovely new locks with spa services, such as facials, mani-pedis, waxing, and aromatherapy body scrubs.
When Sparrow Stylin? Salon owner Lisa Branham became a certified stylist in 1983, she had a certifiable style of her own?a royal-blue mohawk. Though she?s since swapped her punk-rock coif for pretty blond highlights, she still encourages her team to embrace a diverse and norm-bending approach to styling. In addition to traditional cut and color services, Lisa and her stylists can be found creating special-effects colors, maintaining dreads, snipping away wads of gum, and ornamenting strands with feather extensions. Though often funky, their work can also be elegant, polishing frizzy locks with Brazilian blowouts and building romantic updos for weddings and special occasions.
The onsite spa furthers aesthetic overhauls with an extensive selection of facials and chemical peels. Lactic peels use a milk-based formula to brighten skin, and moisturizing seaweed facials can help clients befriend nearby whales. Clients can also have their nails groomed with Shellac manicures and select aromas of their choice for full-body sugar scrubs.
When clients sit down in front of the mirrors that lean against the exposed brick walls of Flaunt Salon, they have a choice. They can stick with a simple cut, perhaps with a deep-conditioning treatment to keep their hair healthy, or they can go for a complete makeover. One place to start would be a corrective color, which stylists perform to fix the subpar work of other salons or the mistakes of the animators who drew our dimension. Before they know it, clients end up with brighter smiles from the Da Vinci teeth-whitening system, more durable nails from a Shellac manicure, or healthier-looking skin from the botanical antioxidants of the rehydrating facial. They can then maintain their looks by taking home hair products from American Crew, Aquage, and Pureology.
Ambiance defines Voila Salon Spa Parfumerie. Behind its brick storefront, a team of stylists, aestheticians, and other beauty professionals recreate the feeling of a Parisian spa from some bygone era. Shades of purple and red offset brick columns and floors, while artwork—most inspired by France—completes the scene. Beneath a ceiling mural painted to look like the sky sits what is arguably Voila's most unique attraction: its parfumerie, the Phia Lab. Customers sit at stools along what resembles an upscale bar, except the mixologist here is Michelle Roark, a chemical engineer and former professional skier who blends together custom scents.
Those signature aromas waft into other areas of Voila, where stylists, colorists, and barbers revamp stale hairstyles. Aestheticians, meanwhile, treat skin concerns with products from the Sanítas Skincare line, manufactured and designed in nearby Boulder—a town whose streets have never broken out in acne.
