  • Major Third Music
Josh Schryver, the man behind Major Third Music, has a long history with rhythm and melody. At the age of 13, he began teaching other children to play instruments. In the years since, he’s studied music at several universities and performed at events including the SXSW music festival. Students visit his studio, located within Uptempo Music, to learn how to create their own music through guitar and piano. Schryver teaches a wide variety of styles, including irish folk, classical, and rock, so he can cater to each student’s interests.

  • Pinot's Palette
Pinot's Palette is less an art studio than it is a way for people to enjoy a libation-filled night out with friends, one that happens to include a painting project. The BYOB painting sessions evoke adults' inner artists whether they have any painting experience or not, encouraging conversation and good cheer while painting and sipping. Each session features a predetermined painting?from flowers and animals to known classics such as Van Gogh's Starry Night?which each participant tackles from their own artistic angle under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
