Behind Easy Go Auto’s tidy crimson and white façade, teams of licensed technicians are hard at work, dutifully restoring and maintaining the vital systems of all makes and models of imported or domestic vehicles. Mechanics prevent wear, tear, and unexpected breakdowns with routine oil changes and tire rotations, while AC specialists maintain comfortable cabin temperatures with thorough inspections and repairs of hoses, lines, evaporators, compressors, and the cursed snowball that makes everything cold. Complimentary towing services within a 10-mile radius of the shop safely tote vehicles with unresponsive engines or ailing tires.

The world’s first steam-cleaning car-wash franchise, DetailXPerts employs organic cleaning products to reinvigorate vehicles to show-room levels of spotlessness. With the Presidential detail, a team of expert scrubbers travel directly to clients to give four-wheelers the Oval Garage treatment over about two hours, kicking off with a traditional hand wash and dry. After the nebulous power of steam scours rims and wheels, a slathering of tire dressing shines up car shoes and eliminates any evidence of joy rides through tar pits. Detailers thoroughly vacuum and deodorize interiors, purifying seats and vents, conditioning carpet and upholstery, and steam-cleaning floor mats, along with a slew of other down-and-dirty tactics. Proud owners of people-movers can schedule appointments for DetailXPerts’ mobile unit to come meet them whether they’re at home, at work, or out running a car-wash fundraiser.

Detroit has long been synonymous with the American automobile. In fact, the Motor City has even hosted an annual auto show since 1907?with the exception of World War II, when all our cars went overseas to serve as in the USO's demolition derbies. But the war also brought dramatic changes to the auto industry, leading some forward-thinking auto dealers to explore the cars of Japan and Europe. Up until that point, the Detroit Auto Show had always been a regional affair. When those dealers returned, they brought back an entire world's worth of automobiles, and in 1989, the Detroit Auto Show became the North American International Auto Show.

Here are a just a few milestones achieved since the expo began:

  • 1,359 new vehicles introduced
  • Approximately 18 million attendees
  • 50 vehicle introductions alone in 2014

There's still a palpable sense of excitement each year at North American International Auto Show. Car manufactures from around the world come to show off their latest models, and the general public can expect to see more than 500 vehicles on display. Event organizers hand out awards for innovative vehicles, posters created by students, and photos that attendees snap of cars across the auto show.
