In 1917, famed golf-course architect Donald Ross carved New Rogell Golf Course out of an urban plot along Grand River Avenue, adding yet another gem to a portfolio of courses that also includes Pinehurst No. 2 and Oakland Hills. Today, players enjoy the fruits of Mr. Ross’s labor as they cruise over a bentgrass path that stretches to 6,075 yards from the farthest tees. Two additional tee boxes start off each hole as well, allowing golfers to tailor rounds to their skill level or forsake tees completely and start in a bunker.
Course at a Glance:

Total length of 6,075 yards from the back tees
Course rating of 70.2 from the back tees

Don't worry: Bullfrog Bar & Grill’s Double Bullfrog Burger doesn't hold a pair of amphibians between its grilled buns. It does, however, hold a full pound of tender beef. If that's not enough to entice you, there's always a half-pound burger topped with three kinds of onions or a steak and cheese hoagie that rivals any outside Philly.
But even though Bullfrog claims to serve "Michigan's best burgers and sandwiches," the menu is just the start. This lively burger joint is home to a full bar and a stage where local bands play tunes late into the night. There's also a crew of friendly waitresses and bartenders standing at the ready to pour beers or translate the menu into Latin poetry.

A pop-up art class held around town, Paintings Made By Me's sessions revolve around a handful of fun venues where making art is a relaxing and laid-back experience. Depending on the day, each class features a different composition. Following along with the artist-instructor, guests mimic the steps demonstrated by the teacher to create scenes of city skylines, white sand beaches, and Van Gogh with two ears. All materials are included, and guests are able to take home their finished piece at the end of class.
