Sparkling clean and buffed to a shine, jet-black stretch limousines driven by professional chauffeurs depart from Rick's Limo Service each day to pick up travelers and revelers alike. Airport-goers, prom or wedding parties, and professional stilt walkers stretch out in the spacious interior of a luxury limousine while drivers do the work of navigating traffic and ensuring a safe, prompt arrival. Rick's also offers deluxe packages to wineries and theme parks, and keeps a 15-passenger limo bus fueled and ready to escort large groups to a concert or a night out on the town.
A little bit of the Wild West still survives in Heartstoppers Haunted House, except that "survives" implies that its inhabitants are living. Visitors first find themselves in the heart of the Deadlands, a town once and still terrorized by the murderous gunslinger, Cyrus Lynch. His zombified victims, freed from their shallow graves, now inhabit the saloons and general stores, seeking revenge on their killer and someone who can figure out how to make the player piano play anything other than "Old Susanna."
Interlopers duck into Dr. Lash's Sideshow for relief, only to to find themselves surrounded by grotesque oddities and threatened by the mad doctor's unstable son, Billy. In their haste to leave town, the visitors stumble through the Tomb of Shadows—a dark, winding maze with a gauntlet of surprises—and into Steamghást Asylum, the abandoned rehabilitation center for the area's criminals. Overrun by insane doctors and bloodthirsty killers, the medical monstrosity of steam and electricity still reverberates with the screams of unwilling test subjects.

In the shadow of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, a raft flies across the river, maneuvering through rapids as plumes of foamy, white water spew into the air. Inside the boat, a 7-year-old girl and her grandmother plunge their paddles into the water, working side by side as they traverse each aquatic roller coaster. Since 1973, moments like this have unfolded under the watchful eyes and perpetually wet hair of Zephyr Whitewater Expeditions's trained guides, all of whom honed their skills at the company's own intensive whitewater school.Winding through scenic California landscapes, four rivers set the stage for expeditions that range from a few hours to three days. Fast rapids and calm waters intertwine across Kings River, allowing beginners to discover rafting for the first time. The outfit also leads tours through the American River's 20 major rapids and speeds things up along the class 4 rapids of the Tuolumne River. On longer trips, guides prep fresh food and teach rafters how to use paddles as giant spoons. They also help to set up tents for adventurers to sleep along the riverbank.
