When Ashton Bemis stumbled upon her knack for photography, she wasn't taking casual shots of her neighborhood—she was helping to renovate a children's home in Bolivia. During her stint as a volunteer, she would snap pictures of the kids playing nearby, as well as those who joined in on her work. The experience left her inspired to document other key moments in the lives of those around her. Today, she captures images of weddings, moms-to-be, families, and graduating seniors, channeling the ethereal beauty of natural light to frame her subjects. Her outdoor photo shoots set clients against scenic backdrops, such as local bridges. However, she also zooms in on charming details. One of her photographs, for example, depicts a baby's feet with the parent's wedding rings on each of the big toes.
It’s hard to describe the whirlwind costume changes, unparalleled stage presence, and glowing, surrealist sets of a Lady Gaga concert. Wisely, Misty Madonna Hays didn’t try; instead, she captured Lady Gaga’s show at St. Louis’ Fox Theater in photographs. Specializing in music, fashion, and beauty photography, Hays has also shot Kanye West, Ben Folds, and Jason Mraz in concert, and her various photojournalistic shots and fashion spreads have earned her publication in everything from Meuse Magazine to the front page of the Murray State News. Hays also shoots civilian portraits, drawing on her bachelors and masters degrees in photography to craft artful shots in her signature style of bright colors and funky pastels reminiscent of a Versace Easter egg.

Whenever Generation Domination's photography team attends an event, it brings along a variety of creative ways to elevate the excitement level. The team creates customized backdrops and sets from a handful of templates, and supplies a box of themed props that attendees can pose with or use to dress the mannequin they brought as a date. Studio lighting casts the perfect glow over guests as they pose in the open-air photo booth, after which an onsite printer produces 4"x6" prints within seconds. Generation Domination then posts customers’ images onto its website, alongside galleries from events such as Bonnaroo and South by Southwest. The booth's live touchscreen monitor lets users instantly upload images to Facebook or Twitter.
Skilled photographer Jennifer Rose captures authentic, natural images using only her eye, her camera, and her easygoing personality. Each shoot is conducted on location, meaning Jennifer will travel to the house, garden, or abandoned school bus that best represents your personality. Clients feel comfortable and at ease thanks to Jennifer's relaxed approach, which brings out the best in newborns, children, expectant mothers, and young families, as well as graduating high-school students. During the shoot, subjects can change clothes as much as they want, and afterward they will receive low-resolution copies of all images, from which they can pick 20 favorites for digital retouching and Photoshopped-in celebrity pals. Once edited, these images are posted to an on online photo gallery for final selection.
