E.nopi widens educational horizons by offering after-school enrichment programs in math and English/reading for kids age 4–14. Each program is tailored to an individual child's needs, with the appropriate amount of challenge, creativity, and heads up, seven up. After an assessment, each child is given a skills-appropriate workbook with colorful pictures and accessible activities. The math program jumps off from either the basic or critical-thinking level to develop mathematical mastery in arithmetic and analysis, all the while boosting self-confidence and cultivating powers of concentration strong enough to bend a spoon with a differential equation. English/reading lessons take a four-pronged approach, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing to improve vocabulary, critical thinking, comprehension, and forging report cards. Understanding that each child learns differently, the staff members of Sylvan Learning?s numerous study centers design custom lesson programs. Based on the results of standardized testing, diagnostic tools, and one-on-one interviews, the staff works with students to help them firmly grasp basic skills such as reading, writing, math, and how to remember facts without tattooing them to their chests. Programs target students in kindergarten through grade 12 and mold to various learning styles, helping kids feel more comfortable in the classroom. Afterschool or summer classes can ready high-school students for the rigors of the ACT or the SAT, or they can help students wow college-admissions officers with their superior writing skills, exemplary test scores, and willingness to arm-wrestle the school mascot.

In the late 1970s career educators Eileen and Raymond Huntington opened the first Huntington Learning Center in Oradell, New Jersey. Their goal was to take an individualized approach to education, adjusting instructional tactics according to each student's set of needs. Their success in helping K–12 students prepare for exams and improve grades and study skills quickly spawned franchises across New York and New Jersey. Today, the certified Huntington tutoring staff utilizes testing and rubrics for assessing each child's skills, academic needs and potential for growth. The teachers even note the student's behavior in different testing and academic situations to craft a methodology sensitive to each child's learning style. Teachers also adhere to the company's code of ethics that stresses professionalism and confidentiality and encourages pupils to improve their grades honestly through dedicated study rather than shortcuts.

More than three decades ago, educator Larry Martinek set out on a mission to develop a curriculum that would radically change the traditional approach to teaching math. Noting a "disconnect between students' basic skills training and the curriculum they [must] master in the years to come," Larry created an original teaching method designed to turn students into miniature mathematicians capable of thinking critically to solve problems. His approach, which he describes as the cultivation of number sense, strives to sharpen students? math instincts, rather than drill them with repetitive, memory-based exercises or force them to blackmail accountants to crunch the numbers. Soon after students began using Larry's method, their test scores began to rise. In the spring of 2002, Larry's dream came true. Peter Markovitz and David Ullendorff, leaders in the education industry, made Larry and his curriculum the driving force of Mathnasium. Larry introduced his curriculum as the Mathnasium Method. Today, Mathnasium centers can be found throughout the world. Informed by Larry's visionary innovations, the program's tutors give personalized coaching that focuses on bolstering critical thinking through written materials and mental math, forsaking many of the teaching tools found in a traditional classroom. In addition, the tutors also focus on boosting students' enthusiasm for the subject, helping them overcome a lack of confidence in the classroom or their innate fear of prime numbers.

E.nopi means "at a student's eye level"—and the Learning Center that takes its name from this principle sculpts its curriculum with that in mind. The director, Ritu Patel, has more than 10 years of experience tutoring math and reading. The tutors at this multidisciplinary learning center put the reins in their students' hands with their child-directed learning process that promotes independent and critical thinking skills, ensuring kids develop the skills they need at a pace they can handle, without getting bored enough to eat their homework and blame it on their dogs. Enopi's reading and writing classes help younger students to recognize capital and lower-case letters while developing an awareness of grammar and spelling. Older students expand vocabularies and refine reading comprehension with colorful learning aids that prepare them for standardized testing. Enopi's math classes, meanwhile, stimulate critical-thinking skills with patterns, geometry, and props to develop spatial and cross-dimensional reasoning. Both the English program and the math program align with United States educational standards, allowing students to walk into any classroom in America and shout out the answer to any given rhetorical question.
