The best way to keep people motivated is for them to see the results of their hard work!

What is the biggest mistake you see people make when trying to get fit on their own?

Mistakes in form lead to injury. It is very common for people to come to us with back, neck, and shoulder injuries resulting from diligent?but incorrect?home fitness routines. Even if you know the proper form, it isn't always easy to tell if you are implementing it correctly. For this reason, even the best instructors often have their own instructors to observe their form.

Besides working out, what else can clients do to spend their time at your facility?

We offer massage, as well as workshops related to health and wellness.

Cesar Bravo—a gymnast who holds certifications from CrossFit, the International Sports Sciences Association, and the USA Gymnastics National Safety association—opened Bravo CrossFit in 2009 with a few sandbags and a single rusty barbell. His gym has evolved leaps and bounds since then; it recently moved to a new, 3,000-square-foot facility, in which Cesar still teaches every class. He helps clients from all walks of life get in shape, including students, business executives, athletes, and stay-at-home parents. He leads these clients through functional exercises that eschew the muscle-isolating machines and movements of traditional gyms. The daily-changing routines harness kettlebells and calisthenics as well as training skills from Olympic weightlifting and gymnastics. He further helps his clients overhaul unhealthy lifestyle habits with nutritional training, and posts healthy, flavorful recipes online for dishes such as slow-cooked coconut-ginger pork and bacon-wrapped chicken to ensure that taste buds don’t get bored and wander into a pint of ice cream.

The husband-and-wife team of Drs. Darren Tong and Mariliza Lacap has 20 years of experience in dental implants, cosmetic procedures, and orthodontics. Determined to make patients feel as comfortable as possible, the dentists and their team of seasoned hygienists, assistants, and patient coordinators first get to know patients by holding a Q&A session with each tooth before investigating them for decay and other issues. Each treatment comes with special perks, such as relaxing paraffin hand treatments. Instead of using drills, the dentists remove decay with quiet electric tools that reduce heat and vibration while conserving more of the patient’s tooth. To make sure decay is removed, the dentists follow up with laser therapy to zap away the final bits of decay that may remain.
