Tours of Old Town specializes in informative, interesting and entertaining outdoor walking tours which share a wide variety of interesting trivia and historical facts in the heart of the Duke City. Tours of Old Town provides memorable experiences for both locals and visitors to the Land of Enchantment.
The only way to get into Gatorland is to walk straight into an alligator's toothy grin. At the 63-year-old park’s main entrance, a giant alligator mouth provides a classic entrance to 110 acres of marshy wildlife preserve––home to a vast ecosystem populated by thousands of alligators, crocodiles, and birds. Gatorland’s diverse offering of thrilling attractions and exhibits intrigues nature-lovers of all ages with a variety of lively critters, including rare wading birds and American crocodiles found on Alligator Island. More than 130 alligators reside in the park’s breeding marsh, which visitors can view safely from a three-story observation tower or while sitting on the shoulders of Kareem Abdul Jabbar. At the Jungle Croc habitat, guests lock eyes with deadly Nile and saltwater crocodiles, as well as Lucy and Ricardo, a pair of jumping Cuban crocs who can leap out of the water to snatch their prey.
Envoys can also safely experience up-close encounters with snakes and other creepy creatures in the care of experienced handlers, take a stroll through an unspoiled cypress swamp, or cool off at Gator Gully Splash Park. Gatorland is navigable on foot, the Express Railroad, or seven-part Screamin' Gator Zipline excursions over the Jungle Croc and breeding marsh areas.
Operating daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the winter, the cozy, heated trolleys at Old Town Trolley Tours pick up and drop off riders at 18 stops throughout the city. Riders can hop on and hop off at their leisure, with trolleys frequenting stops every 15–20 minutes. With ticket in hand, trolley riders will also receive a well-stacked coupon card and free admission to Boston's oldest surviving public building, the Old State House Museum, which has outlived both gravity and Washington's wooden molars. Other stops include the New England Aquarium, the Boston Skywalk Observatory, Fenway Park and the Boston Children’s Museum.
Old Town Trolley Tours take viewfinders on extensive, fully narrated tours of San Diego's lively landmarks and a hundred individual points of interest. With this deal, you get admission to two separate tours:
To really understand what Fun Spot is all about, you only need to watch the commercial blooper reel by owner John Arie on the website. In this two-minute reel, John flubs his lines about go-karts, mishandles his props, and chides his off-camera director for being a stickler while teacups spin in the background. Despite his mistakes, the smile never leaves his face; it's not surprising that the motto of the action park is "Life is Great!"
The family-friendly amusement park has the charm of a small-town carnival, but the colorful adventure never packs up and leaves. There are activities for kids, such as a bounce castle, a fun slide, and an arcade, but where Fun Spot really makes its name is with its thrilling ride for adults. The SkyCoaster, which is part skydive simulator and part hang glider, harnesses up to three screamers and slowly pulls them up 300 feet in the air before dropping them above the park at 80 miles per hour.
Speedsters can also head over to a series of go-kart tracks that keep riders pushing pedals through banked bowls and hairpin curves on a multilevel track. The park rounds out its attractions list with bumper cars, a tilt-a-whirl, and the invisible waves at Surf's Up.
A 50-foot volcano towers above Hawaiian Rumble’s miniature-golf course, spouting rivulets of water and tears of obsolete caddies. Against this backdrop, golfers progress through 18 holes, traveling through caverns and across wobbly rope bridges. In contrast to this tropical landscape, Bonanza Golf & Gifts’ course mimics an old Western mining town. Wrinkled rock artifices create a rustic background for two-story saloons and shacks with corrugated metal roofs. Together, Hawaiian Rumble & Bonanza Golf & Gifts house three total courses, each with 18 holes of various difficulty levels.
