Jazzercise is 60 minutes of cardio, strength training, and stretching that incorporates moves from hip-hop, yoga, Pilates, jazz dance, kickboxing, and resistance training with handheld weights. Just as varied as the workouts are the class formats themselves. There are special Jazzercises geared to sculpt your bod, cut your workout time in half, or literally make you slightly better at saxophone playing. There's even a junior Jazzercise and Jazzercise team dance at some locations, which let you work out with your kids and teenagers. As for the ittie-ditties, childcare is available during select times at many locations.

My Gym, which currently has more than 200 international locations, began more than 30 years ago as a structured place for children to safely play, acquire new skills, and romp off a sugar buzz. All classes are organized according to age level—starting as young as 6 months—and designed to incorporate the latest physiological and psychological research. Tiny Tykes gets babies moving with help from their parents, Mighty Mites teaches toddlers self-reliance and beginning sports skills, and Champions, a class for kids aged 6 to 9, emphasizes the importance of using teamwork to master more complex sports skills and achieve group goals such as building a human pyramid to reach the cookie jar. My Gym's energetic instructors are experts at using music, dance, and gymnastics to build youngsters' strength and self-esteem while stimulating their giggle-plexes. The noncompetitive environment fosters creativity, and hands-on activities boost children's learning retention and fun quotient.

At Jumpin' Jamboree, kids ages 2–14 can run rampant in the 10,000-square-foot play center brimming with bouncy, inflatable terrain and interactive games, while adults rest easily on the sidelines. Ankle biters can race through obstacle courses, rebound off springy walls and floors, evaluate the anatomical accuracy of a gigantic puffy Spider-Man filled with the air of adventure, all under the watchful supervision of a friendly and attentive staff. Toddler-specific play areas entertain tiny jumpers with size-appropriate surfaces. Dotted with group games such as jumbo-sized checkers and foosball, Jumpin' Jamboree’s diverse spread of activities engages diminutive attentions spans and Lilliputian toes alike. Cable TV and WiFi are provided for parents weary of watching the same children they've seen in countless home videos, and snacks and drinks are available at an additional cost. Bouncers must wear socks at all times on the inflatables, and parents or guardians must be in attendance as their kids attempt to break the giggle sound barrier.

Before the landmark age of 5, children's teensy brains soak up knowledge at a rate unmatched during any other period of development. Starting Ahead Academy takes full advantage of these crucial years, packing preschoolers' heads with knowledge according to the Opening the World of Learning (OWL) and HighScope curriculums. OWL springs from the philosophy that the entirety of a child's day impacts his or her learning. So each component of the day—that is, the environment and interactions—must be approached as a learning experience. The HighScope curriculum, on the other hand, focuses strictly on the rapport between children and adults, coupled with a learning process of planning, doing, and then reviewing.
