The instructors at Ritmo House teach dance and musical performance of all kinds, but their true mission is unlocking hidden potential. They run afterschool programs for kids, combining structured homework time with lessons in everything from dance and choreography to musical instruments and acting. They also teach adult classes, helping their older students discover the passion of salsa, the history of Latin dance, or the best way to put on makeup to impress judges.
In programs led by head coach Andreina Angulo and coach Jose Teran, young gymnasts absorb tumbling and trampoline skills or learn how to work together as a team in competition. The 14,400-square-foot training facility also hosts Mommy and Me recreational sessions, in which families can hone gymnastics skills together.

The fun center's 3D murals give off an ethereal light that alludes to the spot's specialty: glow-in-the-dark games, that come to life with the help of 3D glasses. During Glow Soccer, youngsters play a game similar to traditional soccer, except in the dark, the field lit by each team's glow shirts and the ball itself. LazerBall, on the other hand, fuses paintball and laser tag into a single, cosmically-themed sport in which players shoot soft pellets and laser light at each other in a battle over the fictional Planet Revo. Though similar to paintball pellets, the LazerBalls do not explode upon impact and won't stain clothes or ruin any priceless artworks used as shields. For littler laser warriors, the center also offers an age-appropriate version of the game known as Lazerball Soft, which uses extra soft spongy balls that are gentle on tiny torsos and limbs.
Wading through indoor heated pools, the instructors at British Swim School teach independent swimming skills to learners aged 3 months and older, adhering to a curriculum devised by British national swimmer Rita Goldberg. The 30-minute one-on-one sessions and small-group lessons, containing six or fewer swimmers, elucidate essential techniques for water safety and the importance of speaking fluent manatee. Swimboree (ages 3 months–3 years with parents) and Young Minnows sessions (ages 1–3 years without parents) teach wee swimmers basic water-survival skills, such as the back float. Turtle One and Turtle Two classes focus on freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke maneuvers, honing more structured swimming skills in older kiddos. British Swim School's Shark courses enhance stamina and speed and teach even more demanding strokes, such as the butterfly and little-known mountain-goat flail. Certain British Swim School classes require parents to participate in the water or to supervise from the pool deck, and adults-only lessons allow grown-ups to refine their own abilities without the supervision of a toddler.
Under the culinary guidance of chef Rayon Howard, students sear, chop, and sauté fresh ingredients into tantalizing dishes with Aura Catering Services. For more than a dozen years, Howard has crafted flavorful cuisine for restaurants, hotels, and private caterers. He now brings his expertise and recipes to special events throughout Miami. Chef Ray also shares his knowledge with aspiring chefs during two-and-a-half-hour cooking classes, which rotate according to participant demand, allowing students to hone their kitchen know-how with a stainless-steel arsenal of cookware, myriad ingredients, and the mystical ability to transmute fire into cooked food. Pupils can tackle global gastronomy by exploring cuisine such as bite-sized Spanish-style tapas or robust Italian-inspired pasta. At the end of each class, students can sample their newfound skills by enthusiastically devouring their work, a luxury not afforded by other artistic disciplines, as evidenced by Rodin's painful attempts to eat The Thinker.
