Nightmare's Gate Haunted House is not a house; it is, in fact, a haunted prison. Your visit will let you become one of the newly incarcerated at Brasky State Prison, which is the first step to discovering the gruesome, horrific secrets festering within. During its long, sordid history, the Brasky State Prison has been home to the state's most infamous, monstrous prisoners. Fear voyagers will find the prison to be rife with frightening twists and turns, as every step takes them past menacing creatures, dimly lit rooms, and zombie singing-telegram messengers. Co-managed by the former director of Six Flags Over Georgia's 2010 Haunted House, Nightmare's Gate is run with professional expertise. Although the penitentiary vibe is sure to feel creepy and disturbing, this attraction is free of nudity, cursing, or any sexual content that may offend visitors. The haunted house is not recommended for those that are pregnant, have back or heart problems, or that have determined “legally dead” by the FDA.
The photos we leave behind may be the only way for future generations to see the styles and personalities we bear. That’s why the professional makeup artists and photographers at Glamour Shots strive to capture the true essence of a person with their shoots. Whether commemorating a milestone event or a successful trip to the grocery store, each session begins with the shop’s signature full airbrush and style makeover, which works to prevent unwanted shine while imparting a chic aesthetic. Makeup artists tailor looks to the purpose of the shoot, imparting children with a red-cheeked glow and boudoir subjects with a dark, seductive color palette.
Photographers encourage everyone to bring a few outfits and props from home, allowing them to give each photo shoot an individualized touch without snapping close-ups of their subjects’ fingerprints. Clients get to see the photos immediately so they can approve the looks and order their favorite shots in the form of pictures, phone cases, or calendars. A professional lab then prints out the chosen items using a range of color finishes—including colorization to make one color pop and the company's signature Glamour Touch retouching—onto made-to-last Kodak paper.
The tireless, all-volunteer team of court-appointed special advocates (CASA) at Children's Voice: CASA, Inc. give a voice to the unheard children of Douglas County. A chapter of the National CASA and Georgia CASA, the local outpost advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in juvenile-court deprivation proceedings, speaking up for the needs of children who might otherwise get lost in the overburdened legal and social-services system. The volunteers—each of whom has completed 30 hours of pre-service training and 10 hours of court observation—take on a wide range of responsibilities on behalf of children, including gathering information, appearing in court, seeking solutions, and explaining the process to the child.
Conceived in Seattle in 1976, National CASA originated as a way to empower abused and neglected children. Nationwide, advocates have helped more than two million children find safe, permanent homes since the organization’s founding. In the last year alone, volunteers have represented 243,000 children—about half of the children in the country’s child-welfare system at a given time.

Like any good coach, Jon Ainbinder stresses the fundamentals. He just happens to help people get a handle on work, finances, and relationships instead of dribbling or running routes. He helps people with everything from time management in the office to marriage and family issues. He conducts every appointment in tightly schedule hours, and stresses the importance of clients arriving on time. Through his experience he's found his clients are often surprised to learn that "someone else truly cares about what they are going through and wants to help them."
Jon's coaching strategies vary from situation to situation, but the one element he embraces in every case is change. "People must change their actions if they want different results," he says. "A coach can help you make the changes that you need in order to get the results that you are seeking."
