The founder of Premier Workouts, certified trainer Prince Wilson, is determined to help his clients feel the excitement that comes with transforming their bodies into their most fit, athletic selves. Passionate about motivating, encouraging, and pushing people to change their lives and exceed what they thought they could do, Prince Wilson offers intense one-on-one personal training sessions, small group training, boot camp classes, and fat-shredding ab classes. Inspiration isn't hard to come by at Studio B. That's because the studio's art classes are typically accompanied by music, whether that means painting to neo-soul jams or making glass art while a live gospel jazz band performs. If the tunes get you in the mood to move, you can also join one of the center's dance and fitness classes, which range from bellydancing to yoga.
Teamwork and positive attitudes. Strong work ethics, good morals, and keen focus. They're all components of strong character, and they're all instrumental to the dance and cheer classes at Lisa's Dance Spot. Here, upbeat instructors lead lessons in styles from ballet and funk jazz to tumbling, hip-hop, and cheer. Working with kids as young as 2 years, they instill confidence early in tiny dancers, eliminating the phrase "I can't" from their vocabulary. For students interested in pursuing their passion for dance past simple lessons, they also organize dance groups and cheer squads that perform at community events throughout Metro Atlanta.
The Creation Academy was founded by fashion maven Summer G in 2009, and gives children a chance to learn the ins and outs of clothing design. The creative force behind Yces Haute, Summer G has designed for such icons as Nicki Minaj, D. Woods, and Rocsi. Along with ongoing fashion camps and one-time workshops, The Creation Academy hosts kid-friendly celebrations that include refreshments and art materials. And now that the state has lifted its ban on adult creativity, Summer also hosts grownup parties where guests bedazzle denim, T-shirts, and shoes.
There’s a photoshoot at the start and finish of each four-week fitness boot-camps at South West Atlanta Training Fitness. The before-and-after snapshot works as a document of proof that shows just how hard exerciser has worked in that timeframe to lose pounds and tone muscle. Each week, certified trainer Rashad McDade leads intense workouts that focus on high-intensity interval training. He splits students into different groups based on skill level, which ensures beginners, experts, and robocops all remain appropriately challenged. These group workouts form the core for South West Atlanta Training Fitness, but Mr. McDade also works with clients during personal training and sports conditioning sessions.
