The NBA Development League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Canton Charge regale hoops fans with basketball savvy from a roster stacked with talent looking to play their way into the NBA. Donning the same yellow-and-red color scheme of their affiliate squad, the Charge compete in the East Division of the NBA D-League. The team plays in the Canton Civic Center, where sounds of cheering fans and squeaking shoes echo off of rafters and occasionally create a high-pitched rhythm that the Charge Girls, the team's dance squad, can groove to.

The Dream Show teams world-famous figure skaters with reality-show dance stars for an evening of crowd-wowing spins, jumps, and flips. Guests can wave as skating champs such as Richard Dornbush and Parker Pennington glide past, turning triple Axels and jumbo pancakes on the tips of their bladed toes. Switching between dancing and skating thanks to an on-rink dance floor, the graceful showcase performs double duty. During the dance portion, Jessica King, a top-10 finalist from Fox's So You Think You Can Dance and a former backup dancer for Lady Gaga, will amaze onlookers with her newest moves. Meanwhile, fellow finalist Gev Manoukian will breakdance on dance floors, ice sheets, and the backs of skating mountain lions. After the show, the arena will host a free open skate, letting kids release pent-up enthusiasm by racing around the rink.

For three decades, the Ohio Light Opera (OLO) has produced premier opera culled from around the world. The OLO attracts 22,000 aria-aficionados annually, to the chagrin of staffers saddled with sweeping up shattered monocles. In recent years, the company has expanded its repertoire to include Broadway staples such as Camelot, Loewe and Lerner’s rumination on the more musical moments of King Arthur’s reign paired with the more dramatic patches of his relationship with the Lancelot-lusting Guinevere. Alternately, Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera The Pirates of Penzance illuminates the classic tale of a pirate-turned-police-officer’s quest to vanquish vandals of the high seas while winning the unbridled affection of the major-general’s daughter.
