McCollum Park Miniature Golf & Concession blends natural beauty with a manmade play-land. Packing this range of scenery into a small area, the 18-hole course winds through whimsically designed greens landscaped with rocks and logs, as well as a waterfall, a waterwheel, and an old mining cart affixed to a track. Visitors can also use basketballs and volleyballs on the court or for proportionally skewed games of golf.
"Our brain is designed to realize what we wish, without any minor errors," says Dahn Yoga founder Ilchi Lee. "If you want success, it will create success. If you want happiness or health, it will create them. Anything is possible, as long as negative thoughts and emotions don't interfere."
To make this challenging, yet hopeful, philosophy accessible to all, Lee combined the Eastern concept of chi energy with his own brain-management system, developing a distinctive program that unlocks inner peace and sweeps up brain clutter caused by the daily stress of always having to find Waldo. This focus, shared by Body & Brain Holistic Yoga and The Life Yoga, forms the basis of the studio's classes and consultations. Warm-up yoga maneuvers awaken muscles before 30–40 minutes of breathing, stretching, core practice, and meditation—including a signature brain-wave vibration technique that aims to calibrate mental and physical energies. Cooldown exercises ease the body back into quotidian functionality before a 10-minute teatime invites socialization among participants while bolstering pinkie endurance.

Lombard Park District's Western Acres Golf Course features nine holes that unfurl across an expansive blanket of bluegrass characterized by mature trees, numerous sand traps, and three ponds that come into play on multiple holes. Each day from sunrise to sunset, the 3,051-yard course demands a repertoire of hazard-avoiding strokes, such as bending shots around imposing tree trunks or giving golf balls arm floaties to avoid sinking in the intersecting waterways.

Since 1976, Riedy's Tee Time Golf Range's PGA professional instructors have helped people shave strokes from their games on an outdoor driving range. Ultramodern mats anchor golfers as they grace Riedy’s well-manicured grass tees with golf balls plucked from a bucket or the throat pouch of a pelican. Always onsite, Reidy’s instructors can aid players in achieving the ideal arch for their swing or understanding the basics of swing mechanics during personalized lessons.
Since becoming a pro instructor in 1988, PGA teaching professional Michael Camastro has fine-tuned the swings of aspiring aces in more than 25,000 lessons. When Michael encounters a new swing, he looks for subtle adjustments he can make to improve it without disrupting the natural style of the students' form. To help reveal problematic swing habits or the translucent souls of any loitering poltergeists, Michael uses slow-motion video swing analysis in all private lessons, one of many technological teaching aids he calls upon to enhance his diagnostic powers. With a staff that consists of two head instructors and three assistant aces, Michael Camastro Golf Academy spreads score-shaving tactics and techniques in private, group, and imaginary golf lessons.
