The first time Jimmy Redus tried out for cheerleading, it was just a joke with his wrestling buddies. However, when he didn't make the team, cheerleading became a real goal and eventually, a passion. More than two decades since that first tryout, he owns Middle Georgia Cheer Extreme??a cheer and gymnastics training center with its own 11,000 square-foot facility and team of experienced coaches. Tumbling classes, cheer teams, and private lessons train students ages 2 to adult, focusing on the athleticism of the sport and personal development.
