Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center is a spiritual center in the Passionist tradition, open to all who seek to deepen their relationship with God and one another. We welcome men, women, and youth to weekend, day and evening retreats, and programs where they can journey with God in an atmosphere of respect and hospitality.
Shopping excursions embark every day except on holidays and on New England Patriots home-game days. Direct Boston hotel pickup is available for hotel guests, while visitors and area residents can get picked up at either the Back Bay Station on Dartmouth Street at 8:30 a.m. or the South Station on Atlantic Avenue at 9 a.m. and head back toward Boston at 4:15 p.m.
Launched in 1948 by Chicago shipwright Henry C. Grebe, the Full Moon is an antique, 65-foot motor yacht that ravels constantly. In the winters, it cruises the waters of southern Florida, but it returns to New England once it gets warmer, taking passengers on voyages throughout Boston Harbor. Onboard the Full Moon, passengers can take in skyline views and sunset vistas from the sea.

Bella Via's licensed pilots maneuver their brightly colored craft through the sky as intimate groups of up to four passengers take in sweeping views of the countryside. The vessel swoops into natural beauty and dips close to the verdant treetops, granting aeronauts newfound views of the canopy and allowing them to eavesdrop on tree-house board meetings. Guests may skim across the mirrored surface of a lake or soar up to 2,000 feet above the earth to tamper with the clouds and embarrass rival meteorologists. Passengers can assist with the setup of balloons prior to takeoff, and a dedicated crew follows the vessel to its landing site to toast disembarking balloonists with an effervescent glass of bubbly and return them to their jealous automobiles.
For three generations, Christmas trees perfumed the grounds at Leyden Farm & Winery. In 2010, though, the Leyden family became interested in fruit-essence wines and planted strawberries, blueberries, and grapevines amidst the trees, becoming partners with a love for farming and wine. The fruit from the trees they grew eventually became red wines such as Romeo's Red and Samson's Merlot, white wines such as Cleo's Blanc and Sunny's Grigio, or fruit varieties such as Apple Jack Russell or Samson's Wild Berry. Today, visitors to the sixty-acre family farm can enjoy bites of fruit and cheese complemented by tastes of smooth, complex merlot; crisp white wine laced with green apple; or a blush wine infused with fresh-watermelon essence.
Ann and Michael Martini have long shared a love and familiarity with Rhode Island's culinary landscape. Ann left her post at Rhode Island Monthly to work with chefs, restaurants, and food events, and Michael, a professional chef, has let his knives fly at upscale Rhode Island eateries for more than 25 years. Together, they bring outsiders into New England's culinary gems to sample signature dishes, tour kitchens, meet chefs, and get lucky guests’ tongues autographed. Ann coordinates each tour, then sends Michael off with up to a dozen people to receive insider access to restaurants, gourmet shops, and other palate-pleasing stops. For two hours, groups cover about 2 miles of ground at a leisurely pace. There are treats to sample at each stop—although, according to the Sun Chronicle, "What's almost as good as the food is the fact that the chefs welcome tour guests into their kitchens, which in many cases have sous chefs and other personnel beginning to prepare for dinner service."
