He Loves Me Not, 11-year-old Susan Boyd was assembling them into floral bouquets for her grandmother’s, a national flower-show judge. Gifted with years of experience and a knack for eye-pleasing designs, Susan started lining her walls with a variety of awards for her arrangements, ranking as a top floral designer in the United States and winning the FTD America’s Cup Design competition twice. She opened Poseys 'N' Partys Florist in 1978, and she continues to stock the shop’s shelves with her signature lush, freshly cut floral designs alongside exotic plants and gift baskets. She also arranges custom arrangements for myriad special events, including weddings, communions, and public apologies for accidentally disabling your entire block’s cable service.
Somewhere in Oregon every November, a flatbed truck trundles down the lone dirt road past row upon row of fir trees. Every mile or so, one of a team of winter-weather lumberjacks jumps down from the cab of the truck and gets to work cutting and piling eight-foot firs. That's when a duo of choppers circles the man-made forest, air-lifting each tree and dropping them off near the truck where they're bundled and loaded for the long drive back to Texas.

Puff professional Jim Klipp owns and operates Tobacco Cabana, which carries an extensive array of pipes, cigars, tobacco, and smoke-cloud-enhancing accessories. Customers can grab a pair of small cigarillos ($1) to enjoy during a lunch break or two-day congressional recess, or they can go straight for a sizable hand-rolled cigar injected with Cognac Louis XIII ($14). Feel free to light up a corncob pipe ($5), or fittingly place it in the maw of a scarecrow, which actually should not be done due to the flammability of flannel. A selection of more than 70 blends of pipe tobacco costs $5 an ounce. Sales tax is included in all prices, and Jim can special order any item not in stock. To further cement his reputation as a customer-centric purveyor of smoking wares, he is happy to assist clients looking for an ideal pipe fit, a new blend of tobacco, or an official explanation of how much smoke the sun actually emits through its constant blazing.
