Pro Tip: Let us bring the wedding of your dreams to life.
Samantha Klaburner found her calling early in life; she was eight years old, in fact. She planned one perfect event in her mind, and she hasn't stopped since. In 1991, she founded Extreme Event Planning to turn her passion into her life's work, and by the end of the year she found herself with a robust staff managing multi-day affairs such as weddings and corporate getaways. She and her team have planned more than 930 weddings in the intervening years, ranging from small family getaways to parties for 1,500 guests.
Weddings are her favorite events to tackle; she loves "watching our bride's dream come true and making it happen." In fact, she and her team go to great lengths to turn clients' visions into realities. They track down the perfect venue by casting a wide net—they've hosted events everywhere from Santa Barbara to Miami, in everything from rustic lodges to urban parks. Once the venue is solidified, Samantha personalizes the event, beginning with custom letterpress invitations and moving on to all of the other nitty-gritty details: linens, lighting, flowers, table service, and making sure the sun rises.
