The group formerly known as Musicians Emeritus Symphony Orchestra haven't changed their mission—they've just dropped a few syllables. Under their new moniker, they continue to tunefully bow, blare and percuss their way through polished programs that celebrate the joy of performing. Music Director Anna Edwards leads the musicians—who range in age from teenagers to nonagenarians—as they sonically tear into timeless pieces and new compositions alike.

Bally Total Fitness enshrines exercise classes, calorie-burning equipment, and a fitness-focused staff within its sanctuaries of health. A 30-day guest pass includes access to a spread of group exercise classes, including Pilates, Reaction Cycling, Step Fitness, and High-Impact Hopscotch (class offerings vary by location). For self-guided worker-outers, cardio equipment such as treadmills, elliptical machines, cross-trainers, and stair climbers torch calories while entertaining the brain with video entertainment and integrated music systems that occasionally whisper quotes from Charles Atlas. Bally also boasts a bulk-building army of strength machines, free weights, and small-apparatus equipment, and grants gym-goers access to on-site locker rooms, showers, and, at some locations, a pool and steam room. Visit each location's webpage for a list of specific amenities and the lineup of classes.

Great American Casino brings a little bit of Vegas to the Northwest, gathering hooting and hollering patrons around table games such as baccarat, Texas Hold 'Em, blackjack, and other styles of poker, such as Progressive Fortune Pai Gow. Most tables have a betting limit up to $300, and aside from the top-shelf thrill of walking away with the pot, regular players can earn rewards redeemable toward electronics, meals, hotel stays, and Great American merchandise.

Like the best Vegas casinos, Great American brings more to the table than just gambling. There's live entertainment most nights, including local bands and musicians from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. There are full-service dining rooms where the menus also bear an Asian influence, with dishes such as pad thai and Kalbi ribs. The menus are slightly different at each of the four locations, but generally encompass an international spread that might include pizza, pub-style fish 'n' chips, and creme brulee, much like the meatloaf served in the United Nation's cafe.

Developed by USA Football, Pick 6 Sports is way more than just a sports camp. Pick 6 Sports gives its kids the complete experience of what it's like to be a pro—whether wearing official jerseys or spiking the ball in the end-zone before a touchdown dance. Focused on football, courses introduce kids to the sport with basic fundamentals, employing a series of drills by USA Football-certified coaches during no-contact scrimmages. During some games, kids have the opportunity to run onto the field out of a tunnel, while wearing a branded NFL jersey. Pick 6 Sports is also a member of the NFL Flag program and an official licensee of USA Football Fundamentals program.

Typically, when people have friends or family in town, they show off their city by cramming in as many attractions and sights as possible. The four brothers behind the Sasquatch Relay take that approach to its logical extreme, orchestrating 75- and 190-mile relay races that spotlight their native region of Puget Sound. The trek leads teams of 6 or 12 in a one- or two-day journey through the shadows of Mount Rainier and the Northwest's sea of evergreens. At a party at the finish line, runners celebrate and share their surprise over how much shorter Sasquatch looks in person.
