CrossFit Pace Performance’s master trainer, Leonard Pace, is ideally suited to spur his clients toward noticeable results. He applies his BA in exercise science to formulate and calibrate ever-changing daily workouts and draws on his experience as a motivational therapist to inspire his exercisers to meet their goals. He starts beginners off on the right foot with foundations classes that familiarize them with the functional movements and exercises of CrossFit, such as air squats and medicine-ball dead lifts. For those already familiar, he amps up the intensity of full-body workouts that prepare them for everything from ordinary daily activities, such as picking up the kids and heaving sacks of groceries, to more extreme activities, such as scaling mountains or running marathons while dodging rogue grocery carts.
