Empire City Watersports provides people with the opportunity to see New York City's sights from an entirely new perspective?while jet skiing across the waters of New York Harbor, the Hudson River, and the East River. Before visitors rev the engines on their 2014 Yamaha VX watercraft, they don provided wetsuits and life vests and listen to a brief lesson on how to safely operate the jet skis. From there, groups can depart and follow a tour guide at a comfortable pace as they pass by Coney Island, cruise beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, or jump over The State of Liberty's torch. Empire City Watersports even offers tours that circle the entirety of Manhattan, stopping at key points of interest along the way. Rentals are also available for guests hoping to explore the waterways on their own.

The Statue of Liberty is one of the most enduring symbols of American freedom. The other, of course, is speed. The Shark Speedboat Thrill Ride combines both, cutting across the water and kicking up waves while giving passengers a thorough view of Liberty Island. As an added bonus, the ride even stops briefly for photo ops.
