Jazzercise is 60 minutes of cardio, strength training, and stretching that incorporates moves from hip-hop, yoga, Pilates, jazz dance, kickboxing, and resistance training with handheld weights. Dancing with the Stars multiple-champion Cheryl Burke is a big fan of Jazzercise's improvisational workouts, though luckily you won't need her dance moves to get the most out of your class. If you're prone to first-class jitters, though, you can review the basic moves online before you go. Expect to burn up to 500 calories with each go-round.
Pro Ski and Scuba, a PADI five-star IDC facility, shares the basics of breathing underwater in the two-hour Discover Scuba Diving Experience led by certified instructors with more than 25 years of combined experience. The controlled pool environment keeps things safe and simple for all involved as instructors acquaint students with provided dive equipment as well as aquatic dos and don'ts culled from their vast, ocean-like expanses of knowledge. During the 2.5-hour class, students practice ascents, descents, and anglerfish impressions. Although students aren't certified to dive after one class, the Discover Scuba Diving Experience’s skills can be credited toward PADI open-water certification should class-goers decide to pursue an underwater graduate degree. Those who prefer to dive in groups can bring along up to three friends, and kids ages eight to 12 can forgo conventional birthday parties for a celebration in Pro Ski and Scuba’s pool with up to eight friends and two adults. Birthday parties often span 2.5 hours, and for an additional $20, Pro Ski will provide a birthday cake and silverware.
The executive layout at Sierra Hills Golf Club presents a par 58 course that covers 3,100 yards and features 4 par 4s and 14 par 3s. The terrain careens across gently undulating bluegrass and past six water features, including a crescent-shaped pond that wraps itself nearly all the way around one of the greens, forming a moat to prevent local mini-golf courses from setting up windmill colonies. The 18th hole offers a dramatic end to the round, as golfers must send approach shots soaring over a water hazard stationed directly in front of the green. Sierra Hills Golf Club complements its pared-down layout with a full-length, 35-stall, natural-grass driving range, where guests can drive or bicycle-kick practice balls up to 300 yards into the distance.

- 18-hole, par 58 course designed by Leo Johnson
- Course rating of 70

Husband-and-wife duo David and Crystal Wells threw their mutual passion for fitness into the creation of Ring Side Fitness Center. They outfitted the gym with high white ceilings, a soft red floor and a boxing ring, corralling passionate students and leading them through boxing classes. In addition to teaching foundational footwork and techniques, David maintains professional status in MMA, and Crystal ranks as a professional figure competitor in the National Gym Association and National Physique Committee. They apply their professional experience toward building full-body workout plans, but stay in touch with the fitness limitations and aspirations of everyday people. As working parents, they make efficiency paramount—drop-in classes span 75 minutes and work the whole body, including the dorsal fin.
A nine-hole course ideal for a leisurely midday game or early morning jaunt, Clearwater Golf Course unfolds across level terrain unencumbered by an overabundance of sand bunkers and water hazards. Hurtling orbs sail into the sky at an onsite driving range, where players can hone swings in anticipation of holes four, five, and nine, numbers which not only signify Clearwater’s toughest obstacles, but also the toughest questions on the drivers-ed exam for a golf cart.
